Atlantic Records showcased its finest talent at “Killers Lasers Papers” during the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. Despite a missing Cee Lo Green (“Killers”) and Lupe Fiasco (“Lasers”), the show still went on with B.o.B, Janelle Monáe, and Donnis filling in for their absent labelmates. Wiz showed up to rep for “Papers,” paying homage to the late Nate Dogg during his set. B.o.B traded bars with Donnis, and Janelle Monáe rocked a black face mask during her lively set.

The labelmates have announced dates for their North American co-headlining tour, “Hooligans in Wondaland,” commencing May 4 at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom and wrapping June 15 at Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre. Plan B and Mayer Hawthorne will open for the duo on select dates.

Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe Announce Joint Tour

After receiving a standing ovation for their performance with B.o.B at the Grammys, labelmates Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe are hitting the road together. The duo will co-headline a North American trek called “Hooligans in Wondaland” with opening act Plan B, launching in May and continuing through June. Tour dates, locations, and lineups will be announced shortly.

The “Grenade” singer, who won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Just the Way You Are,” has also revealed that his next single will be “The Lazy Song,” for which a video will be filmed in Los Angeles later this week. Fans can also catch Bruno performing during the 2011 NBA All-Star Pregame Show, airing live on TNT this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.

B.o.B, Janelle Monáe, and Bruno Mars

With 14 nominations between them, B.o.B, Bruno Mars, and Janelle Monáe tag-teamed during their empowering Grammy Awards performance, with each artist backing up one another as they sang their hits.

A monocle-clad B.o.B. kicked off the triple threat with an acoustic rendition of “Nothin’ on You,” getting a hand from Bruno on piano and Janelle playing the synth. Bruno soon took over with a ’50s-inspired rework for “Grenade,” framed in black-and-white with B.o.B holding it down on the keys.

Janelle Monáe capped of the performance with a fiery version of “Cold War” where B.o.B took on guitar duties and Mars rocked it on the drums. The bouffant-sporting chanteuse stage-dove and sang her heart out, earning a standing ovation from her peers.

Janelle Monáe stormed the stage at the Staples Center during rehearsals for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards today in Los Angeles. The two-time nominee will perform at Sunday’s show alongside her labelmates B.o.B and Bruno Mars, who also ran through their sets.

Legendary music mogul Clive Davis said that the “Tightrope” singer is his pick for best new artist of the year, even though she did not get nominated in that category. She will perform in front of Davis, Whitney Houston, R. Kelly, and other famous faces at the pre-Grammy gala tomorrow night in Beverly Hills.
