From one mother to another. Jennifer Lopez offered her best wishes to new mom Beyoncé on the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. While conducting press for the new season of “American Idol,” J.Lo gave a special shout-out to B.

“The best part of her life is about to begin. I just wish her the best. I know she’s gonna love it and be a great mom,” the mother of twins told “ET.”

Her fellow “Idol” judge Randy Jackson also congratulated the new parents on the addition to their family.

The divas brought the house down at “VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul.” The biggest voices in music paid homage to the great cities of soul music including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis, and Philadelphia during the star-studded show, which aired on Monday night. Veteran divas (Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples) and divas-in-training (Jessie J, Florence Welch) dueted on Motown classics.

Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Clarkson kicked things off with a medley of their hits, Florence + The Machine paid tribute to Amy Winehouse with “Back to Black,” and Jessie J joined Jennifer Hudson for “Knock on Wood.”

The Black Eyed Peas frontman jumps and smashes through hurdles as he launches into the universe in his spaceship. J.Lo appears via video screens, contorting her curvaceous body in a skintight bodysuit, while the Rolling Stones rocker makes an out-of-this-world cameo. Lift off with the superstar trio.

Will.i.am teamed with Jennifer Lopez and a digital Mick Jagger to debut his new single “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)” at Sunday’s AMAs. The Black Eyed Peas frontman appeared in silhouette for most of the song, with performance group Fighting Gravity showing off their gravity-defying stunts with black lights. Jennifer Lopez spread her wings and flew during her show-stopping AMA performance. Sporting a leopard print dress, the newly single star put the pedal to the metal with “Papi,” promoting the Fiat 500 that also appears in her music video. She stripped down do a barely-there glitter suit, joined briefly by Pitbull for “On the Floor,” where she held court between men on stilts and shirtless backup dancers. She earned a standing ovation from the crowd and picked up the award for Favorite Latin Artist.

will.i.am flies solo once again with “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever),” the first single from his upcoming album #willpower, due next year. The Black Eyed Peas frontman teams with Jennifer Lopez and rock legend Mick Jagger on the electro-pop record, produced by will, Audiobot, and Dallas Austin. He and J.Lo will perform the song at Sunday’s American Music Awards, while the Rich Lee-directed video is set to premiere later this month.

Jennifer Lopez will team up with will.i.am for a special performance at the 2011 American Music Awards. The superstar duo has been added to the lineup for Sunday’s show.

The two, who recently were in the studio together, will perform “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever),” their dance collaboration off the Black Eyed Peas frontman’s upcoming solo album. The recently leaked song also features Mick Jagger.

In addition to J.Lo and will, the AMAs will feature pairings from Pitbull with Marc Anthony and Lil Jon, Gym Class Heroes with Adam Levine, Maroon 5 with Christina Aguilera, and opening act Nicki Minaj with David Guetta.

Other previously announcers performers include Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, and more.

The 39th annual awards will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 20, at 8 p.m. on ABC.

When it comes to Jennifer Lopez, there’s one question that longtime friend and collaborator Fat Joe gets all the time.

People always be like, “Yo, what that ass look like?,” the “Lean Back” rapper told Rap-Up.com. “I’m like, ‘My man, I can’t look at her. I’d be embarrassed to be looking.’” But when the newly single J.Lo brought out Joe during a show at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun over the weekend, even he admitted to finally copping a quick peek.

“Honestly, I’ve never looked at J.Lo’s ass,” said Joey Crack, who will release his mixtape The Darkside, Vol. 2 on Halloween. “Never. It would be disrespectful for her to look at me like a brother figure and then when she turns around, I’m staring at her ass. But the other night, I’m watching the performance and she’s wearing some beige shit and I couldn’t avoid it. It was right there. [Laughs] So I finally seen it. I told her about it too and was like, ‘Yo, listen, that beige suit? I’ve always been the brother, but your ass was there, like…’ She started laughing.”

Lopez performed as part of Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary concert, which saw the singer bring Joe onstage to perform “Feelin’ So Good” off her 1999 debut On the 6. “It’s always a great thing to perform with her,” shared Joe. “She don’t do too many shows and she called me up and was like, ‘Could you please come out with me?’ I have major love for her and a lot of respect because I happen to know where she comes from and how hard it was to make it out of the Bronx, let alone make it to an iconic status. I respect everything about the lady.”

While the two performers have no new tracks in the works, Joe said the door is always open for future collaborations.

Jennifer Lopez linked up with Fat Joe, who’s looking less “fat” these days, during her concert for Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary in Uncasville, Connecticut. The old pals performed “Feelin’ So Good” off J.Lo’s 1999 debut On the 6, which also featured the late Big Pun.

“@joeycrackts just killed @mohegansun with me tonight!!!” tweeted J.Lo, while Joe added, “My sister @JLo and me great Times!!!!!!!”

Unfortunately, the recently incarcerated Ja Rule wasn’t able to join the celebration, but J.Lo still performed their classic remix to “I’m Real.”

Will.i.am had the speakers going hammer when he and Jennifer Lopez linked up for a studio session in New York City. The Black Eyed Peas frontman didn’t say exactly what the two were cooking up, only telling J.Lo, “It was great working with you today in the studio before our concert in central park.”

The “American idol” judge also spent some girl time with her pal Erica Reid. Dressed in a furry vest, leather pants, and heels (she later changed into flats), J.Lo and L.A. Reid’s wife walked arm in arm to lunch at Italian eatery Nello as they were chased through the streets by the paparazzi.
