“I love it, I love it, I love it when you suck it,” he rhymes over the Bangladesh-produced beat, which features vocals from R&B singer Pure.

With less than a week to go before its release, Wale previewed his sophomore album Ambition before his peers and industry tastemakers at a listening session at the Gansevoort Park Avenue hotel in New York City last night. J. Cole, Jim Jones, and Fabolous came out to show support to the D.C. rapper, whose Maybach Music debut features appearances from Ne-Yo, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, and Lloyd, among others.

Another celebrity haircut is causing an uproar. Jim Jones has lopped off his trademark cornrows, revealing the trim cut on Twitter. “Get a good look at th bad guy this th last time u see a bad guy look this good,” tweeted Capo, firing off at men who expressed their thoughts. “Y r dudes postin there opinion about my hair cut tht th ladies job smh thts way to Zesty for me.”

The “We Fly High” rapper will reunite with his fellow Diplomats at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam on June 5 at Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Jim Jones battles relationship drama on “Changing the Locks,” his collaboration with Ashanti off his fifth solo album Capo, dropping April 5. Fresh off of his arrest for driving with a suspended license, the Dipset member spends the time apologizing for disrespecting his girl, while the R&B songstress gets fed up with his reprehensible behavior.

“I used to give you every piece of me/ Until you f**ked around and lost that key/ I used to really love you (Now I think nothing of you)/ You ain’t gotta come back no more ’cause I’m gone,” warns a scorned Ashanti.

Jim Jones may be focusing on Dipset’s comeback album, but he isn’t turning his back on his solo career. The Harlemite is prepping the release of his fifth album Capo, set for release on April 5.

The LP features guest appearances from Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Roscoe Dash, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Vado, and Rell. The gruff MC is currently picking from 60 tracks recorded over the past few months, with the singles “Perfect Day” and “Blow Your Smoke” already making rounds on terrestrial radio.

Additionally, the “We Fly High” rapper is set to appear in the eight-part docu-soap series “Love & Hip Hop,” premiering March 14 on VH1. The show follows his longtime girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin as well as four other women, documenting the female experience on the New York hip-hop scene.

Fans can also catch him on the Fuse On Demand service with the launch of “Jim Jones TV,” a six-month series where Jones gives free cab rides to New Yorkers, rubs elbows with New York Knicks player Wilson Chandler, and more.

He may have once been loyal to the Los Angeles Bloods, but Game is riding with a gang of New Yorkers on his new album.

The Compton-bred MC has completed a song with East Coast rappers Jadakiss and Jim Jones for his fourth effort The R.E.D. Album, currently slated for a February release. The track was produced by Get Busy Committee frontman Scoop Deville, who helmed Snoop Dogg’s “I Wanna Rock” and “Life of da Party.”

“[I'm] working in the lab with Game,” the West Coast producer told Rap-Up.com. “We did a record called ‘Gangs in New York’ with Jim Jones and Jadakiss.”

It is unknown if “Gangs” will make R.E.D.‘s final tracklisting since Game has recorded a plethora of material, including collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, and Gucci Mane.
