Floyd Mayweather Jr. celebrated his win over Cotto at Saturday’s fight with some hip-hop heavyweights and a pop megastar. The undefeated champ took his victory lap in Las Vegas with 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber, who walked him to the ring and held his title belts.

The “Boyfriend” singer spoke highly of his friend Floyd in a recent interview. “He’s the best boxer in the world,” he told V magazine. “When everyone else just chills and doesn’t work out because they are not fighting, he’s in there punching the bags because he wants to be the best. He wants to be better than Muhammad Ali, and that’s what he’s striving to be.”

When he’s not on stage, the Biebs enjoys boxing. “Me and my friends box all the time,” he said. “My dad is a fighter so he taught me some stuff growing up, and he’s a great fighter, so I’m a pretty good boxer.”

Other fight night sightings included Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, Birdman, and Jermaine Dupri.

The pop star made a surprise appearance alongside the Money Team at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, sporting Floyd’s title belts on his shoulders as 2 Chainz’ “Riot” played. The Biebs proved to be good luck—Mayweather defeated Miguel Cotto and maintained his undefeated record.

Justin Bieber races into the hearts of young girls everywhere with the video for “Boyfriend,” the first single off his upcoming album Believe. The swagged-out singer pulls up in his vintage whip on a rooftop parking lot, where a pretty young thing catches his eye. He flirts with her in the back seat and wins her over with his guitar playing and dance moves.

This is the second version of the video. The original, directed by Colin Tilley, was scrapped and reshot with director X.

Justin Bieber is calling a redo on his “Boyfriend” video. After previewing a sneak peek directed by Colin Tilley on “The Voice” two weeks ago, he reshot the clip with director X (Drake, Nelly Furtado). In the new visuals, the teen sensation cozies up to a girl on a rooftop parking lot, as muscle cars whiz by. The full video will premiere Thursday at 7:50 p.m. EST on MTV.

While it’s been widely reported that Kanye West was working on Justin Bieber’s album Believe, we now have photographic evidence. The hip-hop superstar and teen sensation hit the studio for a late-night recording session in New York on Friday. Bieber is close to wrapping his album, due June 19.

“Putting the finishing touches on the album and it’s gonna be special! @justinbieber and @kanyewest#Believe,” tweeted Biebs’ right hand man Kenny Hamilton.

The two previously worked together on the remix to “Runaway Love” featuring Raekwon and expressed their mutual appreciation for each others’ music.

In addition to Yeezy, Biebs has logged studio time with Timbaland, Drake, Pharrell, Danja, Hit-Boy, will.i.am, and Diplo.
