Rick Ross and K. Michelle Perform ‘If They Knew’ on ‘Fallon’

Rick Ross showed who’s the boss during his return visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday. With The Roots serving as his band, the MMG mogul got cozy with K. Michelle as they performed their Timbaland-produced collaboration “If They Knew” for the first time on television.

Rozay’s album Hood Billionaire slides 6-42 (16k) in its second week on the Billboard 200. He recently went in front of the lens to shoot a video for “Nickel Rock” with Boosie BadAzz.

Meanwhile, K. Michelle’s sophomore LP Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? is expected to move 75-80k in its first week.

K. Michelle channels jazz legend Billie Holiday in the 1920s-themed video for “Something About the Night,” one of the cuts off her new album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?

After having a few too many drinks, the R&B songstress hits the stage and gives the audience a show they won’t forget. The guys can’t take their eyes off her, but backstage, K unravels and lashes out at her manager, who’s using her to get paid.

“I’m the star! They came to see me. This is my show!” declares a drunk K before falling to the floor.

When K. Michelle revealed the tracklisting for her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, there was one title that stood out. On the piano ballad “Drake Would Love Me,” the Memphis songstress dreams of being treated like a trophy and going to the Grammys with October’s Very Own.

“Drake would love me, he would kiss me, he would touch me like I need,” sings K on the tender tune. “Drake wouldn’t leave me, he would keep me, never break his promises / I’d be the best he ever had, he’d be on his best behavior.”

Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?

On December 9, K. Michelle returns with her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? One week before its release, the album is available to stream in its entirety via VH1.

The 12-track follow-up to her 2013 debut Rebellious Soul features the soulful singles “Love ‘Em All” and “Maybe I Should Call,” the country-tinged “God I Get It,” and the much-talked-about “Drake Would Love Me,” inspired by October’s Very Own.

“My second album is absolutely amazingly scary good, juicy, yummy,” K told Rap-Up TV. “I wanted people to know that I am a musician. This album is so musical. I feel like it’s so ahead of its time.”
