Prom memories are similar to the use of Auto-Tune or the word swag; you either love ’em or hate ’em. For seniors at New York City’s High School of Fashion Industries, their prom was a celebratory night, never to be forgotten. Last Friday at Chelsea Piers, Hearst Magazines, MyPromStyle.com, and Universal Motown teamed up for the Ultimate Prom 2009, a star-studded event featuring high-energy performances by Ryan Leslie, Kid Cudi, and Kat DeLuna, who wore a student’s winning prom dress design.

Kat DeLuna has wrapped a shoot in Brooklyn with Lil Wayne for her new single “Unstoppable.” The video will premiere tomorrow on MySpace, while the Dominican songstress’ sophomore album Inside Out is scheduled for release in late spring/early summer on Universal Motown.

Kat DeLuna is on the rebound after parting ways with Epic Records last year. The Dominican diva has Lil Wayne in her corner on her new single “Unstoppable.” A video for the club record was recently shot.

In addition to Weezy, Kat has also logged studio time with Akon, Jim Jonsin (T.I.’s “Whatever You Like”), and RedOne (Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance”). The follow-up to 2007’s 9 Lives is slated for a late spring/early summer 2009 release on Universal Motown.
