In addition to co-penning Chris Brown’s first single “Fine China,” singer-songwriter Eric Bellinger has been in the studio with Usher. The two have cultivated a brotherhood over time and are currently working on the R&B superstar’s new album alongside Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, and Brian Alexander Morgan.

Bellinger likened the sound to Usher’s Confessions era. “More R&B, more urban,” he said of the follow-up to 2012’s Looking 4 Myself. “[Usher] said, ‘This is the one where I have to show I’m still Usher.’”

They recently collaborated on the Diplo-produced “Go Missin’” and previously worked on records including “Lemme See,” “I Care for U,” and “What Happened to U” off Looking 4 Myself.

In addition to Usher, the hitmaker has been writing for Keri Hilson. “We worked on a song with RoccStar and Timbaland that’s absolutely something that you haven’t heard. It’s just completely different,” said Bellinger, whose mixtape Born II Sing, Vol. 3 drops April 15. “Timbaland has come back and recreated his sound.”

Keri Hilson spent her weekend partying in Sin City. The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer hosted an evening at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Saturday. In addition to popping bottles with her friends in VIP, she performed hits for the crowd. She was still recovering from her wild weekend.

“EVERY TIME I party in Vegas, I just want that memory-erasing thing from Men In Black the next day. That’s how you know you did Vegas right!” tweeted Keri.

Expect new music from the blonde bombshell, who is working on her third album, which she describes as “In a Perfect World… meets No Boys Allowed with a little twist.”

The countdown is on to Justin Timberlake’s first album in six years, The 20/20 Experience, due March 19. While the public has only heard the Jay-Z-assisted single “Suit & Tie,” Keri Hilson got a sneak peek of what J.T. and Timbaland are cooking up in the lab.

Miss Keri, who is signed to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group, says the dynamic duo behind “SexyBack” is about to change the sound of music once again.

“They both are capable of redefining the sound of radio, and I believe, based upon what I’ve heard, they’re gonna do that again,” she told Rap-Up TV. “So I’m proud of them and I’m excited for what’s about to happen.”

In addition to Justin, Timbaland has been working with Keri on her third album. “I’m all about blending the worlds of pop and hip-hop and R&B all in a pot,” said Keri of the follow-up to 2010’s No Boys Allowed.

After spending 2012 out of the spotlight, Keri Hilson is gearing up for a big year. While attending Gillette’s “Kiss & Tell” experiment at the Santa Monica Pier, the blonde bombshell shared her plans for 2013 starting with her third album.

“I took a personal and professional break. I didn’t release any music,” Miss Keri told Rap-Up TV. “I’m ready now. I’m back in the studio and I’m super inspired. Songs and ideas are just gushing out of me.”

While the follow-up to 2010’s No Boys Allowed has a title, she wouldn’t reveal it just yet. However, she has been in the studio with Planet VI (formerly known as Rock City) and Timbaland and Polow Da Don, who are once again executive producers.

She describes the new material as “In a Perfect World… meets No Boys Allowed with a little twist.” You can expect more bangers like “Turnin’ Me On” and “Knock You Down.”

“I didn’t want to lose the fans that do love what I have done in the past, but there is growth that has happened,” she said. “I’m all about blending the worlds of pop and hip-hop and R&B all in a pot.”

And can we look forward to another collaboration with Kanye West? “I spent some time with Kanye. It’s very, very probable and possible,” teased Keri, while sending a message to the father-to-be. “Don’t get too wrapped up in baby world that you forget about Keri Hilson ’cause we make great music together.”

As for Mr. West, she thinks fatherhood will suit him well. “I know Kanye’s gonna be a great father. He’s a very kind-hearted person, very caring. I look forward to seeing that side of him.”

Fellas, if you want to pucker up to Keri Hilson, you better shave first. The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer was on hand to help Gillette launch its “Kiss & Tell” national experiment to prove that ladies prefer a smooth-shaven kiss versus a stubbled one.

Miss Keri joined L.A. couples at the Santa Monica Pier on Wednesday as they put their lips to the test. The results of the social experiment will be announced on Valentine’s Day.

While she remained out of the spotlight last year, the blonde bombshell has big plans for 2013. She will star alongside Vin Diesel in the upcoming movie The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking, hitting theaters in September. Her third album is also due this year featuring production from Timbaland and Polow Da Don.

Fresh from her trip to Thailand, Keri Hilson returned to the U.S. to host an evening at The Bank nightclub at The Bellagio in Las Vegas on Friday. The blonde bombshell was all smiles as she walked the carpet in a sheer turtleneck, leather jacket, and patterned leggings.

“I’m laughing all the way to @TheBankLV,” she tweeted.

Expect to see a lot more of Miss Keri this year. She plans to release new music in the coming months before her third album arrives later this year. She is also set to make her acting debut alongside Vin Diesel in the sci-fi film The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking, in theaters this September.
