In November, she announced that she was working on a mixtape and had been in the studio with Future, Wale, Trey Songz, French Montana, August Alsina, and Mike WiLL Made It. As part of her recording sessions, she has also remade J. Cole and Miguel’s “Power Trip” and Drake and Jhené Aiko’s “From Time.”

New mom Fergie took a break from diaper duty and came out to support fellow L.A. native Kendrick Lamar, who opened the concert. “Felt good representing LA last night with @kendricklamar,” she tweeted.
Kanye’s “mentor” Tyler, the Creator, who also attended Saturday’s show, was super excited to meet Dave Chappelle. “DAVE AND I TAKING SELFIES DUDE I COULDNT FUCKING BREATH HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT I WANTED TO MEET OMG,” wrote the Odd Future leader.

Keyshia Cole faces a tough decision in the black-and-white video for her ballad “I Choose You.” The R&B songstress is in love with two men, but she can’t decide on just one. The heartfelt song, which appears on last year’s album Woman to Woman, was written by Elijah Blake.
“Mary [J. Blige] sung it before I did and Jennifer Hudson sung it before I did as well and neither one of them took it,” said Keyshia during her appearance on “106 & Park.” “When I recorded it, we definitely paid for it right away. We was like, ‘Nobody else is recording this song. We’re taking it.’”
During her visit to BET, she also addressed the rumors that she and her husband Daniel “Boobie” Gibson are having marital issues. “It’s all good. I’m living my life and I’m trying to do the best that I can do and the best way that I can do it,” she said. “If they wanna keep talking, they can keep talking. God is good to me and he’s blessed me so much.”
Keyshia recently launched her shoe collection with Steve Madden and is working on her next album.

Prior to the release of her new album Better, Chrisette Michele spent her spring on the road with Keyshia Cole. During part two of our interview, the “Charades” singer recalled the fun times she had on the “Woman to Woman” tour.
“Touring with Keyshia Cole was an experience I’ll never forget,” Chrisette told Rap-Up TV. “Keyshia Cole’s fans are incredibly vibrant and incredibly colorful.”
So she knew she had to bring her A-game to the stage each night. “They are very live and they make you bring your best self.”
During the last show in Oakland, Chrisette decided to play a prank on her tourmate. She disguised herself as Trinidad James in an Afro wig and joined Keyshia on stage during the portion of the show where she duets with a fan. She acted crazy and remixed the song, pretending to be the “All Gold Everything” rapper.
After revealing herself, Keyshia couldn’t stop laughing. “Long story short, that was the first time we ever hung out,” said Chrisette.
She was also approached by PETA to pose nude, but after the animal rights organization saw her wearing an animal product, they called off the shoot.
“They didn’t like the stylist’s outfit choice,” she said. “I really liked it, I wore it, and that was the end of my PETA campaign. I feel bad about it and hopefully we can work together in a different capacity.”
