Kid Cudi reaches heavenly status on “GloryUs,” his chill collaboration with Chip Tha Ripper off the latter’s new mixtape Tell Ya Friends. “Trying to find me a Halle Berry out in Bedford/ Somebody I can desperately housewife, but be like, ‘F**k you ni**a, I ain’t tryna play housewife,’” sings Cudder over the rippling Hi-Tek production.

Kid Cudi needs a little more time to perfect his magic. The rapper’s rock album WZRD has been delayed by a month.

The project, a collaboration with producer Dot Da Genius, was originally scheduled to arrive on January 30, Cudi’s 28th birthday. With two weeks to go until the original drop date, Dot Da Genius announced to fans that they’ll have to wait a little longer.

“Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion,” he wrote in a series of tweets. “We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us.”

They are now aiming for a February 28 release. “With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th,” he said. “Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is.”

WZRD has spawned the singles “Brake” and “Teleport 2 Me,” which will be released to iTunes in the coming weeks, along with the fan favorite “Dose of Dopeness.”

Kid Cudi paid homage to one of his favorite rock bands Pink Floyd with a new tattoo on his right hand. Cudder showed off the ink on his blog, writing, “New Tat….Love it.” He has been drawing inspiration from the ’60s band as he finishes his rock album WZRD with producer Dot Da Genius. The project was slated for release on January 30, but it’s looking like it will be delayed.
