Lady Gaga nearly sent her Little Monsters into cardiac arrest with the leak of a mysterious new track called “Cake Like Lady Gaga.” The pop star turns trap star on the boastful record that would make the Based God proud. The typically humble superstar stunts and snatches wigs, rhyming about AKs, her iced-out chain, “burqa swag,” and 30 million Twitter followers.

“F**k your life, you bitch ass trick,” she spits. “I roll all that good shit, you rollin’ on that Reggie Bush.”

According to SPIN, the original track was released by Gaga’s producer DJ White Shadow on Twitter. He asked fans to submit their own lyrics to the beat before posting a slowed-down version and writing, “In an unusual twist of fate, the winner has asked not to be announced!”

Gaga’s makeup artist also tweeted the link and it wasn’t long before some tech-savvy fans sped up the original to discover what appears to be Mother Monster in all her glory.

If you’re not a fan of Gaga’s hip-hop swag, don’t worry. It’s likely that she’s just having fun and won’t include it on her upcoming album ARTPOP.

Nicki Minaj has had enough of the Lady Gaga comparisons. During her sit-down with Juju Chang on ABC’s “Nightline,” the platinum rap diva was asked whether she is offended by comparisons to her pop counterpart.

“Offend me? No. Irks me? Yeah,” responded Nicki. “Because we are in completely different lanes.”

She explained herself further. “First of all, I’m a rapper. First of all, I’m from Southside Jamaica, Queens, and I could say some really crazy lyrics right now, but I won’t.”

The “Starships” hitmaker turned the tables on the reporter, asking her what similarities she sees. Chang likened her wigs and eccentric costumes to Gaga.

“Every female in this game wears wigs,” Nicki fired back. “Over the top costumes? Eeh, try again.”

Lady Gaga shared a special moment with her hometown while welcoming 2012 in New York City’s Times Square. Emerging from a glittery black blob, the eccentric superstar performed a medley of her Born This Way tracks including “Heavy Metal Lover,” “Marry the Night,” and “Born This Way” during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

“To say that I love this city is an understatement. This is my hometown and my dream,” said an overjoyed Gaga while overlooking the thousands of revelers.

After changing into a white gown, a masked Gaga helped Mayor Bloomberg count down to the ball drop, dancing into the new year to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”
