Lady Gaga Turns Heads on ‘The X Factor’ [Video]

Off with their heads! Lady Gaga literally slayed with her performance on “The X Factor.” The pop superstar emerged from a confessional with a decapitated female body attached to her as she perfomed her latest single “Marry the Night” with her dancers. She ditched the prop midway and continued the religious-themed set wearing a lacy leotard.

Gaga said hi to “X Factor” judge Kelly Rowland and teased of her upcoming tour. “I just finished designing the stage and it’s bigger and better than ever,” she announced.

Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, & Jessie J Shine at MTV Europe Music Awards

Lady Gaga reigned over the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards at Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The international superstar dominated Sunday’s show, winning four awards including Best Female, Best Song, and Best Video for “Born This Way.” She journeyed to the moon to deliver an out-of-this-world performance of her new single “Marry the Night.”

Two-time winner Justin Bieber spread cheer with his Christmas single “Mistletoe” and “Never Say Never.” Love was in the air as Bruno Mars serenaded the crowd with “Marry You.” And David Guetta was joined by Ludacris and Taio Cruz for “Little Bad Girl.”

“I never got to thank Amy Winehouse for breaking boundaries. She set a new standard for British female artists,” said a teary-eyed Jessie J while introducing a tribute to the late Winehouse. The 23-year-old popstress broke out from a vault for “Price Tag” and filled in for Usher on Guetta’s smash “Without You.”

Other winners included Eminem for Best Hip-Hop, Katy Perry for Best Live, and Bruno Mars for Best Push and Best New.

The reworked version will appear on Gaga’s Born This Way – The Remix album, due November 21.

“Ladies, gentlemen, monsters! Lady Gaga!” said Justin Timberlake while introducing the pop provocateur at Saturday’s iHeartRadio Music Festival. Gaga closed the two-day music extravaganza in Las Vegas with an elaborate set of her dance hits including “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” and “Judas.” She dueted with the legendary Sting on “Stand by Me” and dedicated “Hair” to her 14-year-old Little Monster Jamey, who was a victim of bullying. “Let’s do this one for Jamey,” said Gaga before capping the evening with “Born This Way.”

Lady Gaga, Nas Reflect on 9/11 in 10th Anniversary Tribute PSA [Video]

On the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, celebrities including Lady Gaga and Nas look back on how the world was changed in a new campaign in support of the 9/11 Day Observance. The “I Will” PSAs were created by Viacom to encourage all Americans to remember those lost by doing good deeds, supporting charitable causes, or volunteering in their communities.

“What will you do?” ask the familiar faces in the television spot, which will air across Viacom channels.

“We were in disbelief,” said New York native Gaga as she recalled the tragic events, while Nas added, “No one was ready for 9/11 when it happened. … I will remember the people that we lost.”

Lady Gaga Opens the 2011 VMAs [Video]

Jo Calderone took Lady Gaga’s shine to open the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The eccentric pop star, dressed as her male alter-ego, suited up as her trash-talking counterpart to perform her new single “You and I,” addressing the crowd that included a befuddled Justin Bieber and Adele.

“What’s with the hair? At first it was sexy but I’m just confused. She said I’m just like the last one. I’m not like the last one!” said Jo of Gaga. “How am I supposed to shine? I think I’d be OK with this if I felt like she was really being herself with me.”

He exacted revenge by singing the country-tinged tune, joining backup dancers to hit her cues and gracing the piano. To cap her role-playing performance, she popped a beer and accompanied a big-haired electric guitarist.
