Lil’ Kim and Tiffany Foxx Talk BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher

Tiffany Foxx and Lil' Kim

Lil’ Kim co-signed Tiffany Foxx and now she sits down with her protégée to discuss their relationship, collaborating, and spitting bars on set of their BET Hip Hop Awards cypher.

“She really builds up my courage and lets me know, ‘You know what, Tiffany, you got this,’” said the St. Louis femcee. “She’s definitely taught me thick skin, taught me this industry like a crash course, so it’s been a blessing.”

Kim praised the blonde rapstress, who is signed to her label International Rock Star Records. “She just has the overall package. I look for everything. She’s gorgeous, she freakin’ raps her ass of, she’s just so dope. And she’s a hustler,” said the Queen Bee.

When it was time to spit her verse, Tiffany admitted to getting nervous. “It hits me sometimes, I’m not gon’ front, that I’m straight rocking with Kim,” she said.

See the ladies rip the mic when the BET Hip Hop Awards airs on Oct. 15.

Rap-Up TV: Eve Talks Next Album, Nicki Minaj Lyric, & Love for Lil’ Kim

Eve is currently traveling across the country on her first tour in over a decade. Rap-Up TV caught up with the hip-hop icon before she hit the stage at The Roxy in L.A. last week. She chatted about her next album, working with Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliott, and Nicki Minaj’s lyric on “I Be On Dat.”

While she’s enjoying the positive feedback she’s received from her latest album Lip Lock, she’s already thinking about her next project.

“I am happy that this album is so different ’cause now I can do what I want,” said Eve, who stars in the post-apocalyptic thriller Bounty Killer. “I’m ready to get back in the studio.”

She has developed a friendship with Lil’ Kim and wants to work with her more. “I love Kim. I’ve always been a Kim fan since I was in high school. I was smoking a lot of blunts listening to Kim. I would love to get with her on another record.”

Nicki Minaj raised some eyebrows when she rapped about Eve on Meek Mill’s “I Be On Dat” (“It’s a Ruff ride, E-V-E”). So how did Eve react to the verse?

“I think it’s cool. As long as it’s not derogatory, I’m fine with it. I fucks with her,” she said. “As long as we keep it in peace, it’s fine.”

She also issued a message to those who try to pit them against one another: “It needs to stop, seriously.”

Plus, find out what she thinks of Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse and up-and-coming femcee Angel Haze.

Eve’s “Lip Lock” tour continues tonight at New York’s Gramercy Theatre before wrapping on Friday at Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Lil’ Kim Gives a Tour of Biggie’s Brooklyn

Lil' Kim

In honor of the VMAs first time in Brooklyn tonight, Lil’ Kim took MTV News’ Sway Calloway on a tour of the birthplace of the Notorious B.I.G. The Queen Bee picked him up in her black Rolls-Royce Phantom and rode around her hometown.

She reminisced on Tupac and Nas’ visit to Bed-Stuy and stopped by Biggie’s old apartment on St. James Place, where they met up with Junior M.A.F.I.A.

They hopped out on the corner of Bedford and Quincy, the famous spot where Biggie battled Preme in 1991.

Her fellow Brooklynites showed out on bikes as they came down the street. “They turnt all the way up. Never turn down for nothing,” said Kim.

She also recalled the time she ran away from home when she was a teen and Biggie’s big dreams. “He was so optimistic, so sure of his future,” said Kim. “He just knew these things were gonna happen.”

Get a tour of the BK from the Queen Bee herself.
