Future Brings Out Lil Wayne at L.A. Show

As part of the BET Experience, Future landed his spaceship at Club Nokia in L.A. during his “Honest” tour on Friday night. Following sets from TeeFlii, Rico Love (with special guest Tiara Thomas), and DJ Khaled, the Atlanta rapper hit the stage shortly after 1 a.m.

In addition to performing crowd favorites including “Same Damn Time” and “Turn On the Lights,” he brought out Big Sean (“All Me”) and Lil Wayne, who joined him for “Karate Chop” and “Love Me.”

Miley Cyrus and Usher were among the stars spotted backstage during the kickoff to BET Awards weekend.

New Music: Lil Wayne – ‘Krazy’

Carter V season continues. After calling upon Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, Lil Wayne gives Chris Paul the greenlight to release his latest Carter V cut “Krazy” via social media. Weezy spits some ballistic bars over the menacing beat, produced by Infamous.

“Ain’t got nuttin’ left to prove unless I gotta prove it in court / Live fast, die young and leave a beautiful corpse,” he raps.

In addition to C5, Tunechi plans to release a second album before the year is over.

New Music: Super Hood f/ Lil Wayne & Tyga – ‘Think I’m Lyin”

In between readying two albums for this year, Lil Wayne blesses Dallas newcomer Super Hood with a verse on “Think I’m Lyin’,” which also features his Young Money protégé Tyga. Weezy spazzes out (“I’ma ball even if I fail my physical and shit”), while T-Raww doesn’t apologize for his baller lifestyle.

The flashy track is set to appear on Hood’s upcoming mixtape Kitchen 24 and can also be found on DJ Stevie J’s mixtape The Appreciation Volume 7: It’s Just a Vibe.

Nicki Minaj Talks ‘The Pink Print,’ Praises Lil Wayne and The Game

Nicki Minaj checked in with her British Barbz in an interview with DJ Semtex on BBC Radio 1Xtra. During the 18-minute conversation, the “Pills N Potions” rapper provided some insight into her upcoming third album The Pink Print.

“I’m super excited about the music that I have in store for people,” she said. “I have some stuff coming out in the next couple weeks that is gonna blow people’s minds and I’m just gearing up for this album. I took my time with the album and I’ve never felt better, to be honest.”

A confident Nicki also weighed in on some of her collaborators including Soulja Boy, Young Thug (“He’s not contrived. He’s just raw talent”), and her mentor Lil Wayne, who she’s currently in the studio with.
