2012 is about to be legendary. John Legend is readying his return to the spotlight with a new single and album.

The Grammy-winning crooner will release “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)” featuring Ludacris on Monday, January 23. The Phatboi production will appear on Legend’s fourth solo album and the soundtrack to the romantic comedy Think Like a Man, which also features the title track by Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, and Rick Ross.

“We’ll be putting out a new single this week. ‘Tonight (Best You Ever Had)’ – Me feat. @Ludacris. Look for it on Monday!” Legend announced via Twitter. “The single will be on my upcoming album (unless y’all hate it!), but it’s coming out on the ‘Act Like a Lady…’ soundtrack also…”

The follow-up to 2008’s Evolver (He also collaborated with The Roots on 2010’s covers album Wake Up!) will be executive produced by Kanye West. In addition, the two have been in the studio working on the G.O.O.D. Music album.

Ludacris has a lot on his plate for 2012. In addition to prepping his eighth album Ludaversal and starring in blockbuster films, the rapper-actor is launching a new restaurant in his hometown airport.

Luda announced his newest business venture on Twitter. “Im taking my restaurateur footprint into the busiest airport in the WORLD! Hartsfield-Jackson ATL International! Chicken & Beer coming soon!” he told his followers.

The eatery, which shares a name with his 2003 album Chicken-n-Beer, will be located on the Concourse D level of the airport. “WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THE BUSIEST AIRPORT ON THE PLANET!! THIS IS HISTORY!!” he added.

Ludacris already co-owns an Asian fusion restaurant in Atlanta called Straits, which he opened in April 2008.

Earlier today, Luda announced that his 10-year-old daughter Karma has launched an educational website for kids called Karma’s World. “My daughter is officially a boss!” tweeted the proud father.

Ludacris crossed genres, teaming with country crooner Jason Aldean to perform “Dirt Road Anthem” at the “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!” Luda showed that his talents reach beyond the mic, getting on the guitar and rocking out. The odd couple previously performed the song together at the CMT Music Awards. “History will be made once again as we break all barriers of music!” tweeted Luda.

She gets enraged as the song goes on, pulling out a gun, while Luda calls out his younger peers, namely Drake and Big Sean.

“Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealin’ they flows, but I can’t steal what you never made up, bitch/ Y’all some duplicate rap cloning ni**as/ I manufacture you hos/ Put on your makeup, bitch,” he rhymes on the fiery record.
