Macklemore Snaps Selfie with Justin Timberlake During Show

Macklemore and Justin Timberlake

Even Macklemore can’t resist a photo opp with Justin Timberlake. During the singer’s show at Seattle’s Key Arena on Friday, Macklemore ran up to the stage to take a selfie with Justin as he was performing “Human Nature.” A security guard, who didn’t recognize the “Thrift Shop” rapper, tried to grab the camera before JT waved off the bodyguard.

Timberlake gave a shout-out to the Seattle MC during the show. “Girls grab a girl, guys grab a guy, it’s the same love in here tonight. Shout out to Macklemore,” he said in reference to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hit “Same Love.”

After the show, JT tweeted, “Seattle gets down… For real. Shout out to @macklemore and some of the @Seahawks for coming.”

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Unleash Surprise Performance on NYC Bus

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

Despite all their success, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis haven’t forgotten their humble beginnings. The Seattle duo took it back to basics and surprised a bus full of New Yorkers with an impromptu performance in a promo for the Grammys’ “Music Unleashes” campaign.

With boombox in hand, they boarded the bus and started performing their hit “Can’t Hold Us” for the surprised commuters, who weren’t sure what was happening. Macklemore threw a paper towel roll around while he rapped and eventually the whole bus was standing up and clapping along.

On January 26, the duo will perform on a much bigger stage at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, where they are nominated seven times.

Watch them put a smile on the faces of some unsuspecting New Yorkers.

Miley Cyrus Twerks on Santa, Ariana Grande Spreads Cheer at Jingle Ball

Miley Cyrus

From Miley to Macklemore, pop’s biggest stars rung in the holidays at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Friday.

Following their seven Grammy nominations, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis rocked the Staples Center and brought out Schoolboy Q to perform “White Walls.”

Despite feeling under the weather, pint-sized diva Ariana Grande was cute as can be in a wintery white dress while singing an acoustic version of “Honeymoon Avenue” and her holiday single “Last Christmas.” She had technical difficulties during her set, but that didn’t stop her.

“I’m sorry if my mic was off the whole entire time. At least you know I’m not a track, right?” she told the crowd.

Some interpreted the comment as shade, but she took to Twitter to clear the air. “Ohhh jesus. I wasn’t throwing shade AT ALL I didn’t even see anyone else’s set. I was sick backstage that’s why I didn’t even do the carpet,” said Ariana.

Miley Cyrus was more naughty than nice during her provocative performance. The pop singer remixed her set for the holidays, twerking on St. Nick and dancing with sexy reindeer and a Christmas tree while performing “We Can’t Stop” and “#GETITRIGHT.”

“You are a VERY BAD Santa @CheyneThomas,” Miley told her friend.

Robin Thicke performed “Blurred Lines” with T.I. and caught up with his VMA partner-in-crime Miley backstage. His wife Paula Patton also stopped by to support her man, who was nominated for three Grammys earlier in the evening.

Jordin Sparks helped her boyfriend Jason Derulo cool off following his sweaty set, while other performers included Travie McCoy, Austin Mahone, Selena Gomez, and Enrique Iglesias.
