Nicki Minaj Shares Birthday Kiss with Madonna [Video]

Nicki Minaj and Madonna

Nicki Minaj gushed about kissing Madonna on her birthday last year. Now video from their much-talked-about lip lock has finally surfaced, the same day Madonna drops her new album MDNA.

While donning matching blonde wigs on set of the video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” the pop queen presented her co-star with cupcakes, as the cast and crew including M.I.A. sang “Happy Birthday” and toasted her with champagne. The Young Money rapper, who appears twice on MDNA, got an extra special gift from Madonna in the form of a kiss.

“I have to thank the queen, Madonna, for giving me this opportunity,” said Nicki. “I love her so much, and she’s fierce, and she didn’t have to do this for me and M.I.A…. Did you get the kiss with Madonna on camera?”

Whitney Houston and Madonna

A week before she passed away, Whitney Houston was seen enjoying fellow pop diva Madonna’s Super Bowl performance. Whitney started dancing and clapping along as “Vogue” was performed. “Go Madge!” she can be heard saying in the camera phone footage. Bar patrons tell TMZ that Whitney raved about the performance and reminisced about the days when she would battle Madge on the charts.

Nicki Minaj and Madonna

The Giants and the Patriots weren’t the only stars on the field on Super Bowl Sunday. Madonna put on a thrilling performance during the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The pop queen delivered a dazzling medley of her greatest hits in front of over 100 million viewers.

Dressed as a gladiator in Givenchy, she made a grand entrance to “Vogue” before joining acrobats from Cirque du Soleil for “Music” and LMFAO on their hits “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy and I Know It.” Pom poms in hand, she marched into her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’” with her cheerleading squad including firecracker Nicki Minaj and a middle finger-flipping M.I.A.

After segueing into “Open Your Heart” and “Express Yourself,” Cee Lo Green helped the Material Girl take it to church with “Like a Prayer,” accompanied by a gospel choir. Twelve minute later, she disappeared through a cloud of smoke to roaring applause and the words “World Peace” spelled out on the floor.
