Mariah Carey packed her bags and headed to her favorite winter destination, Aspen, for the holidays. The pop diva, who missed out on the vacation last year because of her pregnancy, looked dashing in a black peacoat, floppy hat, and sunglasses as she made her way into town and posed for the paparazzi. The new mom brought her twins Moroccan and Monroe along to share in the annual Christmas tradition.

Mariah Carey makes it a family affair in the festive video for “When Christmas Comes,” her soulful duet with John Legend, which originally appeared on her 2010 holiday album Merry Christmas II You. The pop songbird’s loved ones gather around the piano as she belts out the James Poyser-produced tune with Legend.

The Sanaa Hamri-directed clip, which was filmed at Mariah and Nick’s Beverly Hills home, features footage from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Mimi frolicks in the snow and cooks up a holiday meal for her guests, while her adorable twins Monroe and Moroccan, dogs, and Santa Claus suit-wearing husband all join the festivities.

“I wanted this to be the most fun, family Christmas,” explained Mariah. “It’s like a soulful family Christmas song and yet I wanted to add all the elements of anything magical that could happen at Christmas.”

Mariah Carey showed off her post-baby body outside her hotel in London on Saturday (Dec. 10). The Jenny spokeswoman was all smiles as she arrived at The Dorchester hotel wearing all black. She posed for the paparazzi and signed autographs for fans who waited outside. There are rumors that she is in town to perform on tomorrow’s “X Factor.” In a recent interview with Fuse, Mariah said she is itching to get back into music.

“I have done one song [where] I was pregnant when I was writing it,” she said. “I was in so much pain. I was laying on this bed and we had a studio set up in the room, and J.D. was there and Randy Jackson was playing bass live, and it was just this whole moment and I love it a lot! So I want to get back in and get going.”

Mariah Carey and John Legend are making the season a little brighter with their festive collaboration. The Grammy-winning duo duet on “When Christmas Comes,” available now at digital retailers. A video was recently shot at Mariah’s house and she has plans to release a deluxe edition of her holiday album Merry Christmas II You next fall.

“I wanted this to be the most fun, family Christmas,” the mother of two told “Extra.” “It’s like a soulful family Christmas song and yet I wanted to add all the elements of anything magical that could happen at Christmas.”

Nothing says Christmas like Mariah Carey. The festive diva invited “Extra” on set of her new video for “When Christmas Comes” with John Legend. While gathered in front of a Christmas tree in her Beverly Hills home, she spoke with her pal AJ Calloway about the Sanaa Hamri-directed clip, dueting with Legend, and Dem Babies, who will make a cameo.

“I wanted this to be the most fun, family Christmas,” explained Roc and Roe’s mom. “It’s like a soulful family Christmas song and yet I wanted to add all the elements of anything magical that could happen at Christmas.”

During an interview with “The Tom Joyner Morning Show,” the Christmas queen also revealed plans to release a deluxe version of her 2010 holiday album Merry Christmas II You next year.

Christmas came a month early for Mariah Carey and John Legend. The Grammy-winning duo brought the snow to sunny Southern California over the weekend while shooting the festive video for “When Christmas Comes,” a remake of the holiday tune that originally appeared on Mariah’s 2010 album Merry Christmas II You.

Roc and Roe’s mama showed off her post-pregnant body in red, joining Legend at the piano to duet on their collaboration. A snow-covered lawn and Christmas tree in the living room added to the merry mood. Nick Cannon dressed as jolly old Saint Nick and Legend’s girlfriend, Christine Teigen, tweeted pictures of him on set.

Mariah Carey was radiant in red as she arrived in New York City to officially announce her role as the new ambassador for Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig). The Grammy-winning songstress, who gave birth to twins Monroe and Morrocan in April, shed 30 pounds since starting on the weight-loss program in July.

“I feel better in every way,” she told USA Today. “To me, it’s mind, body, and soul. I was in a bad place physically during my pregnancy.”

As part of her role as spokeswoman, Mariah will appear in Jenny commercials and her 1992 single “Make It Happen” will provide the soundtrack.
