New Music: Ma$e – ‘Don’t Panic’ + ‘I Don’t F**k With You’ Remixes


Harlem in the house. Ma$e drops off not one, but two brand new remixes. Following Chris Brown, Mason Betha bodies his explicit verse on French Montana’s DJ Mustard-produced single “Don’t Panic.”

He also adds some fiery bars to Big Sean’s new single “I Don’t Fuck With You,” on which he kicks his girl to the curb.

“I’m starting to think the best thing was the breakup,” declares Ma$e, who is reading his first album in a decade, Now We Even.

A day after The Game dropped his all-star anthem “Don’t Shoot,” Ma$e leads his own march on a protest anthem called “Politically Incorrect.” The Harlem rapper sounds off on Ferguson, Mike Brown, and George Zimmerman on the compelling record.

“I’m politically incorrect / I never sell my own out for a check / They say that I’m from generation X / ADD, ni**as don’t know what I’m gon’ do next,” raps Ma$e, who is readying his album Now We Even.

Ball so hard. Rick Ross rounds up Big K.R.I.T., Ma$e, and Fabolous for the official remix to his Keith Sweat-assisted ballers’ anthem “Supreme” off his No. 1 album Mastermind.

Over the Scott Storch-produced beat, Ma$e boasts about being the “first cat to take rap across the continent,” while Rozay proclaims his greatness.

“Top three, who can top me? / Dead or alive, been that ni**a, ask Foxy,” he raps.

Video: Ma$e f/ Eric Bellinger – ‘Nothing’


Ma$e salutes the independent ladies in the video for his Nic Nac-produced single “Nothing.” The Harlem rapper meets “Basketball Wife” Malaysia Pargo at a diner in the desert, but she flips the script and takes him for a ride in her fancy whip. They shop on Melrose and hit up a pool party in the Juwan Lee-directed clip.

His first album in a decade, Now We Even, is due in October featuring Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Dipset.

New Music: Eric Bellinger f/ Ma$e – ‘I Don’t Want Her (Remix)’

Eric Bellinger takes a trip to Harlem World on his latest collaboration with Ma$e. Following his appearance on Ma$e’s single “Nothing,” the Compton singer-songwriter taps the former Bad Boy for the first of three remixes to his Kris Kross-sampled single “I Don’t Want Her.”

The original song, which features Problem, appears on Bellinger’s debut The Rebirth. There will also be two additional remixes featuring other rappers.

Ma$e is gearing up for the October release of his first album in 10 years, Now We Even. He recently announced that Kanye West and Rick Ross would appear on an upcoming single entitled “Billboard.”

New Music: Troy Ave f/ Puff Daddy, T.I., & Ma$e – ‘Your Style (Remix)’

Troy Ave rounds up a couple New York icons and the King of the South for his Chase N. Cashe-produced remix to “Your Style” off his latest mixtape BSB Vol. 4. The Brooklyn spitter, who was named one of XXL’s Freshmen, takes it back to New York in the ’90s on his nostalgic remix featuring Puff Daddy, Ma$e, and T.I.

“Now all you hear is New York this, New York that / Let’s keep it real mothafuckas, I brought New York back,” boasts Troy, who credits himself for the return of G-Unit and Dipset.

Puff makes it feel like “Harlem in the ’80s,” Ma$e shouts out Yeezy and RiRi, and Tip calls out a “thirsty bitch.”

New Music: Jo’zzy f/ Timbaland & Ma$e – ‘Tryna Wife’

R&B newcomer Jo’zzy makes her formal introduction with some help from veterans Timbaland and Ma$e. The self-proclaimed “singer disguised as a rapper,” who hails from Memphis, crafts a new anthem for all the independent women, who don’t need a man to take care of themselves.

Produced by Wizz Dumb, the ’90s throwback joint features ad libs from Timbo and a verse from the Harlem OG.

“I don’t need him / He needs me more,” sings Jo’zzy, who has worked with Missy Elliott, Teyana Taylor, and Agnez Mo.
