2013 marks the return of Machine Gun Kelly. While he released his debut album Lace Up in October, it was missing the fire that made him want to rap in the first place.

“MGK is just professional, bland—there’s no soul or substance in him,” the Cleveland MC told Rap-Up TV on set of French Montana’s “Ocho Cinco” video. “As a personality, Machine Gun Kelly is back. That’s that motherfu**er that doesn’t give two fu**s of a f**k about anything or anyone.”

You can expect to hear Machine Gun Kelly on his upcoming mixtape, due next month. The first single will be “Peso” featuring Meek Mill and Pusha T.

“It’s a joint that makes you want to get up and go to work,” he said of the track, which samples Aloe Blacc’s “I Need a Dollar.”

Machine Gun Kelly was recently in the studio with his pal Wiz Khalifa. While he originally went there to smoke, they ended up recording for the mixtape.

“I felt like I nearly got dropped from my label and felt this hunger that I hadn’t had in a long time, and I just put it in words,” explained MGK, who is still signed to Bad Boy/Interscope. “I felt like I wasn’t a problem in the game yet, and now I feel like, ‘God damn.’ I’m so fu*king stoked on this tape.”

Cleveland gets “Ratchet” on Machine Gun Kelly’s new anthem produced by JP Did This 1. After showing off his “Wild” side, the Bad Boy rapper turns up with his EST affiliates Ray Jr., Dub-O, Tezo, and Pooh Gutta, who trade verses about a “ratchet bitch.”

“Never seen a ratchet get wifed, but I done seen these wifes get ratchet,” raps MGK.

The song serves as the first single off E-V’s upcoming mixtape Bitch I’m From Cleveland 3.

Machine Gun Kelly laces up his fans for Christmas with Part 2 of his documentary. The “Wild Boy” takes cameras along as he returns home to Cleveland. In the 12-minute episode, he gets love from a police officer, visits his favorite tattoo parlor, and gives his EST crew member a Louis Vuitton belt for his birthday. He also documents his relapse after four months of being sober and meets the fans whose lives he’s affected.

Nothing says Christmas like Machine Gun Kelly. If you got a kick out of DMX’s cover of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” then you won’t want to miss MGK’s take on “The 12 Days of Christmas,” which he performed as part of MTV’s “12 Holidaze” series.

Sitting in front of a cardboard fireplace with stockings, the “Wild Boy” strums along to the Christmas classic on his guitar. He even flips the lyrics, singing about getting a purple tree from Snoop Dogg, four naked strippers from his girlfriend, and five chicken wings from a fat guy.

Machine Gun Kelly is a smooth criminal in the video for “Hold On (Shut Up),” a cut off the deluxe edition of his debut Lace Up. The Cleveland rapper shows his struggle before the fame in the cinematic clip, which co-stars Young Jeezy.

He hatches a plot to distract his victims, while he breaks into their car and steals a bag of money, sharing the wealth with his EST gang. He doesn’t leave any evidence behind, smashing the windows before setting the vehicle on fire.

Machine Gun Kelly cranks up the volume on “LoudER,” his latest freestyle. The Bad Boy rapper fires a rapid flow and reps for his EST crew over Mac Miller’s “Loud” beat.

“When times get rough and these fools act tough, you better get yours,” raps MGK, who is currently on tour with Rick Ross, Wale, and Meek Mill.

He has shot a video for “Hold On (Shut Up)” with Young Jeezy and plans to release it soon. “I may or may not have the ‘Hold On’ music video with me and I may or may not be releasing it next week,” he tweeted.
