Some of today’s biggest stars turned out to honor some legends at the 28th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Kelly Rowland took the stage to induct Donna Summer, while Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to the late disco queen with a medley of her hits “Bad Girls” and “Last Dance.”

“I’m pretty sure that me and a lot of you were made to that record,” said the Destiny’s Child diva of Summer’s hit “Love to Love You Baby.”

Oprah Winfrey was on hand to welcome Quincy Jones into the history books, and Usher serenaded the iconic producer with a rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You,” which Jones produced.

Honoree Public Enemy was introduced by director Spike Lee, with Flavor Flav and Chuck D on hand to accept. Harry Belafonte called the hip-hop group “the gatekeepers of the truth.”

The ceremony will be broadcast May 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

They’re back! The ladies of Destiny’s Child—Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle—reunite on “Nuclear,” their first original recording since 2004. Produced by Pharrell (who co-wrote the track with Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy, and Lonny Bereal), the mid-tempo number appears on their career-spanning compilation Love Songs, due January 29.

The R&B trio will perform “Nuclear” as well as a medley of their greatest hits at Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show on February 3.

Kelly Rowland glowed in an orange gown while catching up with her fellow Destiny’s Child diva Michelle Williams at the 3rd annual ESSENCE Black Women in Music event held during Grammy Week. The “Motivation” singer and music industry veteran Sylvia Rhone were honored as movers and shakers.

MC Lyte played DJ and Kelly hit the stage, performing her smash single “Motivation” and reuniting with Eve for their 2007 collaboration “Like This.” Kelly, who is nominated at this weekend’s Grammys, was presented with a platinum plaque by “Motivation” hitmaker Rico Love.

Other attendees included LeToya Luckett, Ne-Yo, Dawn Richard, Melody Thornton, and Melanie Amaro.

Two thirds of Destiny’s Child touched down in London town over the weekend. With Beyoncé back in the U.S. awaiting the arrival of her baby, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams caught up with each other following Kelly’s performance on “The X Factor.” The pals shared laughs and memories at a karaoke party hosted by singer Luke James at Mahiki. They may not be recording a new album or going on tour, but Destiny’s Child was back together for one night. Beyoncé, Michelle Williams, and Kelly Rowland reunited to toast the release of Kelly’s third solo album Here I Am at the Top of The Standard Hotel in New York City on Tuesday night (July 26). All three ladies looked lovely in black as they posed for pics, sipping on Moët inside with guests including Maxwell, Big Sean, and Estelle.

The ritzy affair capped a busy day of promotion for Kelly. She stopped by Planet Hollywood to imprint her hands in the cement and chatted with Terrence and Rocsi at “106 & Park.”

During her visit to Angie Martinez’s radio show, she revealed that she will be going on tour with Chris Brown this fall. “I’m going on tour with Chris Brown in September. I’m so excited about that!” she said.

Beyoncé and Lady Gaga were both honored at Billboard’s 4th Annual Women in Music event at New York City’s Pierre Hotel on Friday (Oct. 2). Beyoncé received the Woman of the Year award, while Gaga was the recipient of the Rising Star award. Michelle Williams showed support for her fellow Destiny’s Child member.
