Four years after the release of her last album, Faith Evans returns in the Derek Blanks-directed video for “I Deserve It.”

With her girls Missy Elliott and Sharaya J by her side, the First lady hits the club in search of a mighty good man. But what she finds is a bunch of losers. Several suitors including YouTube sensation Ice JJ Fish try to put the moves on her, but it’s Terrell Owens who eventually knocks her off her feet.

Faith’s sixth album Incomparable is due November 25 featuring contributions from Jazmine Sullivan and Karen Clark-Sheard.

Make it hot. Faith Evans reunites with Missy Elliott in the ’90s-inspired video for “I Deserve It.” The ladies hit the club with Missy’s protégé Sharaya J in the 30-second teaser.

The ladies’ anthem is the first single off Faith’s 8th studio album Incomparable, which is also set to feature contributions from Jazmine Sullivan and Karen Clark-Sheard.

The year of Pharrell continues. The “Happy” hitmaker kicked off the BET Awards 2014 at Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday.

“This is for Virginia,” he said while taking the stage with his University of Baes to perform “Come Get It Bae.”

He then brought out the “empress of Virginia,” Missy Elliott, to perform her 2003 hit “Pass That Dutch.”

“Love you @MissyElliott. Thank you for performing with me. #TheEmpress #Virginia #BaeUniversity #BETAwards @BET,” tweeted Pharrell.

Missy Elliott Performs at KCON 2013

G-Dragon, PSY, and Missy Elliott

While her peers were in Brooklyn for the VMAs, Missy Elliott made a rare appearance at Korean pop music festival KCON 2013 at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena on Sunday.

The hip-hop icon was met with cheers as she closed out the weekend-long festivities as a guest of South Korean singer/rapper G-Dragon. The two performed G-Dragon’s bilingual single “Niliria,” which will be featured on his upcoming album.

The performance was taped for K-Pop countdown show “M Countdown.”

During the convention, Missy also caught up with “Gangnam Style” hitmaker PSY.
