Nightlife impresario Alex Gidewon hosted a private birthday bash for the St. Louis rapper at Vanquish Lounge in Atlanta following the Soul Train Awards. The guest list included T.I., Tiny, Miguel, Cee Lo Green and Goodie Mob, Nivea, Rico Love, Raheem DeVaughn, Jazze Pha, Just Blaze, and more.

After topping the charts with Tim McGraw (“Over and Over”) in 2004, Nelly linked up with another one of country’s biggest stars. The St. Louis rapper performed his hit “Just a Dream” with Taylor Swift at her “Speak Now” concert at Minute Maid Park in Houston last night.

“Our last stadium show of the tour- Houston, Texas!! Singing ‘Just A Dream’ with Nelly was a serious lifetime highlight. Fantastic night,” tweeted the country sweetheart, who regularly covers the song on tour.

Taylor has surprised audiences across the country by bringing out 16 different artists including Nicki Minaj, Usher, T.I., and B.o.B.

The love filled the room as T.I.’s closest friends and family gathered to welcome him back at the inaugural “A King of Oneself” Brunch at The Mansion on Peachtree in Atlanta during BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend. His mother and wife Tiny, rap peers Nelly, Young Jeezy, and Heavy D, and Atlanta’s mayor Kasim Reed toasted the rapper’s return at the invite-only event on Sunday.

Guests watched a screening of “Salute the King” fan-based documentary and perused the latest AKOO fashions, dining on buttermilk breaded chicken breast, goat cheese vegetable egg white frittata, skillet red-skinned potatoes, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Nothing less for the King.

After indulging in treats at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas, the rapper and “X Factor” judge headed to Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.
