Nicki Minaj Goes Behind the Scenes of ‘Anaconda’ Video

Oh my God, look at her butt. There were plenty of cheeks clapping on set of Nicki Minaj’s bootylicious video for her Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled single “Anaconda.” The voluptuous vixen transforms a soundstage into the rainforest while she and some Big Booty Judys shake things up.

In between scenes with her sexy co-stars, she gets drunk and busts out a hilarious Caribbean accent. Drake makes a mysterious cameo at the end, showing off his own accent.

Nicki says the Colin Tilley-directed clip is her best work yet. “My fave hands down,” she told a fan.

When asked to describe it in one word, she replied, “Orgy.”

Nicki Minaj Covers The FADER

With “Anaconda” officially out, Nicki Minaj kicked off the radio promo by calling into Hot 97′s “Morning Show” and KIIS FM’s “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to discuss her Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled song and her “Flawless” collaboration with Beyoncé.

“After I got proper medical help and started breathing again, I was like, ‘What?’” said Nicki when she first heard that Beyoncé wanted her on the remix.

She once again stated that she is open to collaborating with Remy Ma, who was released from prison last week.

As for the racy “Anaconda” artwork, it was her idea to release it. Her manager was hesitant, but she wanted to push the envelope like her idol Madonna.
