Eminem gave Pink his stamp of approval by asking her to lend her vocals to “Won’t Back Down” off his platinum album Recovery, but what does pop’s edgy star think of Marshall Mathers?

“I think he’s one of the most poetic, ballsy, and hilarious people this industry has ever seen,” Pink told SPIN magazine.

Unlike her pop peers Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson, Pink was spared Em’s wrath in his songs. “I was always afraid he’d pick me as a target, but he’s always been nice to me and finally approached me to be on the album, so I must have done something right,” said the flattered singer.

Eminem expressed his admiration for his fellow rebel in a previous interview. “I’ve always respected what she does,” he told BBC Radio 1. “When we did the track, I heard her on it and knew vocally she’d smash it.”

The duo’s rap-rock collabo can be heard in the commercial for Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops. Eminem has also been performing the song, sans Pink, at his live shows.

The rap and pop worlds collide on Eminem’s collaboration with Pink from his forthcoming album Recovery. The music rebels stand their ground on the drum-heavy, rock-tinged production. Slim Shady rips apart the track with his rapid-fire lyrics, while Pink sounds the alarm with her raspy vocals.

“I laid my parts first and kinda heard her on the record,” Em said of the collabo in a recent interview on Skyrock FM. “I felt like she would smash this record, so I gave her a call and she was with it, so we did it.”

Ghostface Killah has collaborated with some unusual suspects on his eighth solo album, Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City, but there’s one in particular he’s yet to work with.

“I love Pink,” the rapper told The New York Times when asked who he’d like to record with. “She don’t give a [damn] about [anything].”

The Wu-Tang Clan member also shared his love for legends like Bruce Springsteen (“He got that voice”), Billy Joel (“Remember ‘Uptown Girl’? I loved that”), and Bob Dylan (“He had a nice joint, he had lyrics”).

The self-described “old head” added that one of his favorites beats as of late is Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind.” “I love that. That beat might be one of the best beats I heard in years.”

Pink will never be picture-perfect Beyoncé. When it comes to the two pop stars, Pink claims the difference is black and well, Pink.

“The best I can gather is that Australia likes their artists to be rugged and raw and authentic, and America likes their artists to be glamorous and a little more packaged and glossy—like the difference between me and Beyoncé,” the “Sober” singer tells Rolling Stone in the magazine’s September 17 issue.

Although she respects Beyoncé, Pink says she lacks the polish of her peer. “She’s beautiful, she’s multitalented, and she lives this jet-set lifestyle,” she explains. “And then there’s me: You would picture me out in a field boxing a kangaroo with makeup running down my face, crying about something that happened a week ago.”

The North American leg of Pink’s Funhouse tour kicked off this week. She will make stops at Los Angeles’ Staples Center (Sept. 18) and Houston’s Toyota Center (Sept. 24) before closing at Madison Square Garden on October 5.

After tweeting about Kanye West’s outburst at the VMAs (“Kanye West is the biggest piece of sh*t on earth”), Pink had more to say on Monday’s “Today” show. “It was the one time I really, really wish I would’ve won because I had this amazing Alexander McQueen purse with brass knuckles on it,” she told Matt Lauer. “Honestly, I don’t think it would’ve happened if I were up there, but Taylor Swift is awesome. She deserved her moment.”

Pink didn’t stop there. “I think Beyoncé’s a classy lady for what she did at the end,” she added. “I just think he’s an idiot. He’s just a waste. He’s just a toolbox.” Watch below.

While others may hold their tongues in the presence of greatness, Pink is making her thoughts about Kanye West perfectly clear.

The fur reportedly flew when Pink attended Stella McCartney’s Paris fashion show with the vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Kanye. “The entire time Kanye is going, ‘They need more fur in this show,’” Pink told Britain’s The Sun. “He just wouldn’t shut up about how he loved fur. I mean, he’s saying this to me, the PETA guy, and Paul McCartney!”

The “So What” singer is an avid PETA supporter and didn’t hold back her feelings about the fashionable rapper. “Kanye West is the person pissing me off right now,” she said. “I was just so grossed out by him. I’m like, ‘You’re an idiot!’ There are so many people who I think are a waste of skin and he’s up there. I should wear him.”

Pink’s advice for Mr. West? “Go on, donate yourself Kanye. People can wear your fur.”
