Nicki Minaj is about to have a major fashion moment. The rap diva has been tapped to perform at the launch event for Versace for H&M.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the “Super Bass” rapper will bring her colorful stage show to the launch event for the collection in New York on Tuesday, November 8. Fashion insiders will also be treated to a post-show performance by the one and only Prince.

“I am so pleased to share with so many the excitement of this collaboration with H&M,” said Donatella Versace. “To have my friend, the great, the amazing, the one and only Prince, and the extraordinary Nicki Minaj both perform at the event, will create exactly the feeling of joy and glamour I want this partnership to express.”

Will we see the Harajuku Barbie duet with the Purple One? Now that would be a “Moment 4 Life.”

Rap royalty met pop royalty overseas in Gothenburg, Sweden. During his headlining set at the Way Out West festival over the weekend, Prince jammed with none other than Kanye West.

“Everybody put your hands in the sky right now. Say hell yeah!” chanted ‘Ye as he rocked the mic while the Purple One and the New Power Generation performed “If I Was Your Girlfriend,” bringing audience members onstage.

Prince has been joined by many superstar guests at his recent shows including Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, and Mary J. Blige.

Prince treated fans to a surprise last night during his performance at Los Angeles’ Forum, where he’s currently on a 21-night concert run. The Purple One brought out Alicia Keys to duet on his hit “How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore?” which she later covered for her 2001 debut songs in A minor. During the rendition, the pop icon manned the piano while Ms. Keys stood by his side, complimenting his vocals with her smooth trills.

Prince, who kicks off his 21-night stand in Los Angeles tonight, gave a rare interview to George Lopez on “Lopez Tonight.” The Purple One, wearing all red, spoke about refraining from cursing (instead using the word “artichoke”), why he decided to charge only $25 for concert tickets, his simple backstage requests, taking a break from recording, the Internet’s impact on music, and his issue with other artists covering his songs.

The pop icon then stormed the stage in a glittery gold getup with the New Power Generation to debut two new songs, “Laydown” and “You’re the One for Me” with Sheila E., taking it back with “The Beautiful Ones” from the Purple Rain soundtrack. Watch his interview and electrifying performance below.

Rihanna is getting the Purple treatment. Prince and his New Power Generation band gave a special treat to concertgoers at Monday night’s gig at Oakland’s Oracle Arena. The music icon slipped a cover of Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” into his set, allowing the female singers to handle vocal duties with Sheila E. on the drums, but he took over at the end as everyone from fans to security guards boogied in the aisles. He called up Kim Kardashian, but when the sexy socialite wouldn’t move, the Purple One gave her the boot. “Get off the stage!” he told her. Prince don’t play.

The ladies of “The View” got a surprise visit from Prince on Thursday’s show. “These are strange hours for rock stars,” said the reclusive superstar, who was there to promote his upcoming concerts at Madison Square Garden.

Barbara Walters shared with him what Justin Bieber said about wanting to model his career after his, while Sherri Shepherd couldn’t contain her excitement. “I have wanted to make love to you for my whole life,” she told the Purple One, who quickly made an exit.

Purple Ribbon is about to collide with the Purple One. Prince has officially announced Janelle Monáe as one of the supporting acts on his “Welcome 2 America” tour, which will also feature Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson, Sheila E., Mint Condition, Lalah Hathaway, Esperanza Spalding, and more.

“I’ve got lots of hits,” said a bespectacled Prince during a press conference earlier this evening at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater. “Bring footspray ’cause it’s gonna be funky.”

This marks the first time that Prince has launched a substantial U.S. tour since 2004, with the first date occurring on an ambiguous “Purple Day in December in the year 2010.” Prince will also play a multi-night stint in the New York area as part of the trek, though dates are currently unconfirmed.

Prince gives us something to work up a sweat to this summer. The drop-top jam debuted yesterday on the Purple One’s 52nd birthday and was likely inspired by the record-breaking temperatures that hit his home state of Minnesota last month. After all these years, Prince can still turn up the heat.

A timeless Prince rocked the 2010 TIME 100 gala honoring the most influential people in the world at Frederick P. Rose Hall in Manhattan on Tuesday (May 4). The Purple One was introduced by Sir Elton John before performing for a crowd that included Martha Stewart, Sarah Palin, Nick Cannon, and Ben Stiller. Prince was featured on the magazine’s annual list with a write-up by Usher.
