R. Kelly ditches the braids in his latest video for “Skin” off his forthcoming album 12 Play: Fourth Quarter.

R. Kelly sat down with BET News’ Touré for the first time to discuss his child pornography trial, which ended in an acquittal on all charges.

“It’s time for me to move on. I can’t keep answering these questions. If you was charged with something and you was found innocent, then you can’t be found guilty for being found innocent,” Kelly told BET.

Usher wanted to make love in this club, but the Pussycat Dolls prefer love outside the club on a new mid-tempo jam featuring R. Kelly off their second album Doll Domination (Sept. 16).

“Try to charge me, but I’m not guilty,” R. Kelly sings in his hit song with Jay-Z, “Guilty Until Proven Innocent.” And that’s exactly what the verdict was in his child pornography trial.

On Friday, a Chicago jury of 12 (nine men, three women) acquitted Kelly on all 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl. If he was convicted, he faced a minimum of four years in prison and a maximum of 15 years. The trial comes to an end six years after the R&B singer was first charged in 2002.

The jury in the R. Kelly child pornography case has told the judge that it’s reached a verdict after less than a day of deliberations. Judge Vincent Gaughan is scheduled to read the verdict at 3 p.m. EST.

And the verdict is…NOT GUILTY. More details to come.

Jurors began deliberating in R. Kelly’s child pornography trial on Thursday for more than three hours before being sent to a hotel for the night. (more…)
