New Music: Rick Ross f/ K. Michelle – ‘If They Knew’

If They Knew

Rick Ross is not wasting any time. Hot on the heels of his R. Kelly collaboration “Keep Doin’ That (Rich Bitch),” the Biggest Bawse recruits K. Michelle for his latest single “If They Knew.” Over the Timbaland-produced beat, they explore a dangerous and forbidden love.

“What we doin’ wrong, but it feels right,” raps Rozay, while sharing his preference for small waists and red weaves.

K chimes in on the soulful hook: “This is so all bad, nothing good can come from this.”

The song will appear on Ross’ upcoming album Hood Billionaire, due November 24. Two weeks later, K will drop her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?

Video: Rick Ross f/ R. Kelly – ‘Keep Doin’ That (Rich Bitch)’

Rick Ross and R. Kelly

There’s no shortage of extravagance in the video for “Keep Doin’ That (Rich Bitch),” the first single off Rick Ross’ seventh album Hood Billionaire. The Bawse and R. Kelly take over a mansion in Atlanta and flex their wealth and women. They rock furs, smoke cigars, and make it rain as Black Bottle Girls shake their asses and strut around in barely-there outfits.

Supermodel Jessica White plays Rozay’s “rich chick,” while T.I., Jeezy, Jermaine Dupri, and DJ Khaled make cameos in the opulent clip.

Hood Billionaire drops November 24 featuring Jay Z and the DJ Toomp-produced “Elvis Presley Blvd” featuring Project Pat.

Watch them show out in the flashy visuals.

DMX, Foxy Brown, Ja Rule, & Ashanti Perform at Def Jam 30 Concert

Ashanti, Big Sean, Ja Rule, and Aisha Atkins

Def Jam celebrated 30 years of hip-hop with a star-studded concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday night. The label’s past and present icons—from EPMD to Big Sean—united under one roof to perform some of their greatest hits.

Accompanied by Swizz Beatz, DMX tore up the stage with “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” “Where the Hood At,” and “Party (Up in Here).”

Ja Rule, who will star in MTV’s docu-series “Follow the Rules,” took it back with his Murder Inc. classics and brought out Irv Gotti and his former labelmate Ashanti for “Mesmerize” and “Always On Time.” The R&B princess stuck around to sing “Happy” and her debut single “Foolish.”

“This next record put me in the Guinness Book of World Records,” said Ashanti before performing the Biggie-sampled song, which spent 10 weeks at No. 1 in 2002.

Draped in a gold fur-lined jacket, a slimmer Rick Ross bumrushed the stage with French Montana and some twerking fans for “Pop That” and brought out Stalley for “One More Shot.”

Foxy Brown repped for her hometown with her classics “B.K. Anthem,” “Ain’t No Ni**a,” and “Get Me Home.”

Surprise guest Big Sean had the crowd singing along to his new anthem “I Don’t F**k With You,” Fabolous did his remix to “Hot Ni**a,” and 2 Chainz delivered a swagged-out set.

Rick Ross Shows Off Dramatic Weight Loss

Rick Ross

The Biggest Bawse is slimming down. Rick Ross has shared some new photos of his dramatic weight loss.

Thanks to his high-intensity CrossFit training program, which he dubbed “RossFit,” he has shed an estimated 100 pounds.

“I just wanted to get in some better shape, put myself in a better position,” he told Tim Westwood in May. “I still eat the way I want to eat…I just go to the gym. I do this shit called CrossFit. I call it ‘RossFit.’”

The MMG mogul has also been laying off the Wingstop. “The most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money,” he said. “But now they give me fruit to eat. I forgot what fruit tasted like. I eat pears now and shit like that.”

His fans reacted to his new look on Instagram. “Didn’t even recognize him,” wrote one commenter, while another added, “He is too skinny now, nooo.”

Rozay is getting in shape for his upcoming album release. On November 24, he will drop Hood Billionaire featuring Jay Z, R. Kelly, and Project Pat.
