Rita Ora Covers ‘Drunk in Love’ at BBC Radio 1′s Big Weekend

Cigars on ice. Rita Ora paid homage to her friend and idol Beyoncé with a cover of “Drunk in Love” during BBC Radio 1′s Big Weekend in Glasgow on Saturday. Rocking colorful braids and a jumpsuit from her adidas collection, the blonde Brit performed her version of Bey’s hit as the audience sang and snapped along.

She also covered Coldplay’s “Magic” and performed new material off her upcoming sophomore album including “Get a Little Closer,” “Touch the Sky,” and “I Will Never Let You Down.”

In addition to Rita, her boyfriend Calvin Harris, Pharrell, and Katy Perry shared the bill at the weekend festival.

From Frank Ocean to Rihanna, the stars dressed up and showed out at the 2014 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday. This year’s dress code was white tie, inspired by British fashion designer Charles James known as “America’s First Couturier.”

Before they walk down the aisle this month, Vogue cover stars Kanye West and Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet in Lanvin.

“On the Run” couple Jay Z and Beyoncé got decked out in Givenchy and held hands as they made their royal entrance.

Rihanna wowed in a white midriff-baring Stella McCartney show-stopper with her hair pinned up.

Performer Frank Ocean was dapper in a white tuxedo, Solange traded her natural hair for a short bob and a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress, Rita Ora was a golden goddess in Donna Karan Atelier, and Janelle Monáe electrified in Tadashi Shoji.

Givenchy muse Erykah Badu rocked the carpet in a top hat and white coat, while fashion killas A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman cozied up in couture.

Rita Ora Takes It Off for Terry Richardson

Rita Ora is getting risqué in a new photo shoot for Terry Richardson. The blonde bombshell strips down in the black-and-white photos, which the photographer shared on his blog. Wearing only a sheer bra, she flashes the camera with her hands tucked in her pants.

In another provocative photo, the “I Will Never Let You Down” singer goes completely topless, covering her breasts with her hands and Richardson’s flannel shirt. She also wears his glasses and gives the thumbs up in his signature pose.

On Tuesday, Rita played an intimate show at The Box in NYC and debuted some new songs off her upcoming sophomore album including “Get a Little Closer” and “Last Love.”

Due in September, the follow-up to her 2012 debut features contributions from DJ Mustard, Diplo, Macklemore, and Prince.

Rita Ora Performs ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ Acoustic

Rita Ora has been hard at work promoting her new single “I Will Never Let You Down.” In addition to “The Tonight Show” and “The Breakfast Club,” the blonde Brit visited SiriusXM, where she performed an acoustic version of the Whitney Houston-inspired song.

“I love the feeling of ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and ‘How Will I Know,’” Rita told MTV News. “[Whitney] was a queen at doing love songs you could dance to.”

On Sunday, she also stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” where she dished to Andy Cohen about her boyfriend Calvin Harris and her role in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

Her sophomore album is due this September featuring contributions from DJ Mustard, Diplo, Macklemore, and Prince.

“This is putting Rita on blast day,” said Rita Ora during her visit to Power 105′s “The Breakfast Club.”

The British bombshell was in the hot seat when she met Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy for the first time, and nothing was off limits.

The 23-year-old discussed the comparisons to Rihanna, her role as Mia Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and relationships with Rob Kardashian, Bruno Mars, and current boyfriend Calvin Harris.

When Charlamagne asked if she was “boinking” her Roc Nation boss Jay Z, Rita shot back: “Don’t you ever disrespect Beyoncé again like that in your entire life.”

She has collaborated with DJ Mustard and Diplo on her upcoming sophomore album, due in September. “This album for me is the most important thing ever,” said Rita.

Rita Ora made a mess—literally—during her visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday. Wearing a white dress, the blonde Brit performed her new single “I Will Never Let You Down” for the first time on television. Towards the end, pop artist Mr. Brainwash appeared, dousing Rita with colorful paint while she continued to sing.

She also got Jimmy in on the wet fun, covering his face and suit with paint.

“thank you jimmy! The whole thing you thank you for letting me be me!” tweeted Rita.

Love hurts. Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora are a deadly duo on “Black Widow” off the Aussie rapper’s debut The New Classic. The blonde bombshells get revenge on the dark love song, co-written by Katy Perry and produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate.

“I’m gonna love you until you hate me / And I’m gonna show ya what’s really crazy / You should’ve known better than to mess with me harder,” sings Rita over the trap beat.

Iggy’s album arrives Tuesday featuring collaborations with T.I., Mavado, and Watch the Duck.

She is also featured on Ariana Grande’s new single “Problem” and will kick off her tour on April 23 in Boston.
