Here’s a first look at the red hot cover of Robin Thicke’s third album Something Else, in stores and online September 30th.

The spirit of Michael Jackson looms large throughout the record. “Michael is the epitome of celebration, and the core of this album has that: It’s celebratory, healing, loving music,” Thicke says.

Mary J. Blige and Robin Thicke will take their “Magic” on the road together when the “Love-Soul Tour” kicks off September 19th in Virginia Beach, VA, and run through October 22nd in Oahu, HI.

In related news, Thicke has written the theme song for Push, a new movie by Lee Daniels, a producer of Monster’s Ball. Co-starring Thicke’s wife, Paula Patton, as a teacher, the film takes place in ’80s Harlem amid the crack epidemic. Thicke is also penning a screenplay that he describes as “a spy thriller love thing like The Bourne Supremacy” and writing a book of poetry.

Robin Thicke visited MTV’s ‘TRL” on Tuesday to premiere his video for “Magic.” Thicke will release his third album Something Else on September 30th.

The Game will perform a free show for his MySpace friends at LAX Nightclub at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 6th. Attendance is free for the first 200 people with a printout of their MySpace profile. Doors open at 10 p.m.
