The usually mellow Robin Thicke wilds out while listening to his new record “Shakin’ It for Daddy” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ester Dean during a visit to Hot 107.9’s Rickey Smiley in Atlanta. The song will be featured on December 15th’s Sex Therapy. Sounds hot!

Mariah Carey, who says she had to drink “ugly juice” for her unglamorous role in Precious, and Nick Cannon were inseparable as they walked the red carpet, along with Oprah, Mary J. Blige, Will Smith, Paula Abdul, and Robin Thicke, at the AFI Fest screening of Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (Nov. 1). The film opens in select theaters Friday.

Just last week Robin Thicke tweeted that he was in the lab with Jay-Z and now we have a snippet of their joint effort. “Meiplé (Me I Play)” features a rap from Hov, who surprisingly name-checks his black Brigitte Bardot wife Beyoncé. Ooh la la!

The song, along with collabos with Snoop Dogg, Estelle, Kid Cudi, and Jazmine Sullivan, can be found on Thicke’s new album Sex Therapy, due December 8.

Alicia Keys, Iman, and Padma Lakshmi co-hosted Keep a Child Alive’s 6th Annual Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday (Oct. 15). Guests including Usher, Halle Berry, Nick Cannon, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, Estelle, and Queen Latifah were there to honor former President Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson, and African Ambassador Youssou N’Dour for their humanitarian work. Keys performed her own set and dueted with John Mayer on “Ain’t No Sunshine.”
