Rye Rye Springs Into Action in ‘Boom Boom’ Video

Rye Rye

Rye Rye was funky fresh, dressed to impress, and ready to party on set of the action-packed video for “Boom Boom,” her Vengaboys-sampled single. The 21-year-old firecracker showed off her bubbly personality in colorful creations and hairstyles while shooting the green-screen clip, which is set to debut later this month. She rocked a two-toned hairstyle and gold chains in one scene, challenging her male co-star in a black-and-gold bodysuit in another setup.

After a few delays, Rye Rye’s debut album Go! Pop! Bang! will finally arrive on May 15 via N.E.E.T. Recordings/Interscope. She also stars in and contributes to the soundtrack for the action-comedy 21 Jump Street.

See Rye Rye leap into action in the pics below.

Far East Movement and Rye Rye

Far East Movement crashes the party with Rye Rye in the wild video for “Jello,” the first single from the group’s upcoming album Dirty Bass. The L.A.-based group—Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman—disguise themselves while attending a fancy fundraiser aimed at banning low frequency oscillating woofers, with Oprah, Obama, and Tiger Woods in attendance. But the fellas turn the place upside down, getting the uptight crowd out of their chairs, dancing, and taking jello shots. Mission accomplished.

JoJo, Solange, and Rye Rye Shine at Young Hollywood Party

JoJo

JoJo lit up the red carpet in a fuchsia and red cocktail dress at the 9th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party at Paramount Studios in Hollywood last night. Her fellow 20-year-old Rye Rye brought some “Sunshine” while entertaining the chic crowd with music off her upcoming debut Go! Pop! Bang!, including her single “Never Will Be Mine.”

Solange, beaming in a yellow skirt, worked the ones and twos throughout the evening. Earlier in the day, she had a scare when she lost her bag containing her laptop and son’s passport. But she found it in time for the gig. “God is good! My bag was found at the police station! My driver left it in the parking lot!” she tweeted. “There are good people in the world!!!”
