Sade Kicks Off World Tour in France

Sade launched her international tour with a bang. The British band returned to the stage for the first time in a decade with a concert in Nice, France, receiving a warm welcome from thousands of loyal fans. During the gig at Palais Nikaia, the soft-spoken vocalist changed from a more conservative look of a black vest over a white dress shirt and slacks into a cream-colored gown, later slipping into a red dress and standing atop a giant pillar. New Music: Sade – ‘I Would Have Never Guessed’

Sade channels her sultry side on “I Would Have Never Guessed,” the last of four unreleased songs included on the band’s double-disc set The Ultimate Collection, due May 3. The somber tune features the British songbird singing delicately over a lone piano melody, moaning about a love that left heartache in its wake. “I would never have guessed we’d come to this/ I know that it hurt to turn you away/ But I know all that I was wrong,” she confesses.

New Music: Nick Cannon f/ Sade – ‘Pearls’ (Letter to Unborn Children)

With less than a month to go before he becomes a father, Nick Cannon pens a letter to his unborn children on “Pearls,” another release from his forthcoming mixtape Child of the Corn. The anxious dad-to-be cautions his twins of the burdens that come with being born into a family with famous parents.

“They gon’ hate your skin tone, hate your income, hate your homes, and even hate on your moms,” he warns on the personal tune, which samples Sade’s “Pearls.” He tells his daughter to “be careful,” but advises his son to go “hard in the paint.”

New Music: Sade f/ Jay-Z – ‘The Moon and the Sky (Remix)’

Jay-Z gazes up at “The Moon and the Sky” on the remix to the opening cut off Sade’s Soldier of Love. The revamped version, included on the band’s two-disc offering The Ultimate Collection (May 3), features an electronically-kissed beat from Noah “40” Shebib as well as a fresh verse from Hov.

“I know we coulda had it all, I wasn’t ready to go steady, no not at all/ Smoke and mirrors cloudin’ my vision, we hit a wall/ Couldn’t see the moon and the sky behind the fog/ Pregnant, pause, damn your baby tall,” he raps on the melancholy tune.
