The “Beautiful Girls” hitmaker visits his friend Soulja Boy at SODMG headquarters in Los Angeles before hitting the studio where they freestyle for the camera (starting at 4:21). The holiday season got underway at Los Angeles shopping center The Grove with some help from Robin Thicke and Sean Kingston. The entertainers got shoppers in the Christmas spirit by performing at the tree lighting celebration. Rocking a red blazer, the R&B lothario debuted his latest single “Pretty Lil’ Heart” with his band and Kingston brought some island flavor to the outdoor stage as fake snow and fireworks capped off the festivities.

Usher and Sean Kingston spiced up Sin City at the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Ursh joined fellow heartthrob Romeo Santos to perform their Rico Love-penned duet “Promise” live at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Sean Kingston returned to the stage for his first televised performance since his near-fatal accident, adding some fire to reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel’s set with his single “Fire Burning” and their collaboration “Fever.”

After a near-fatal jet ski accident in May, Sean Kingston was reunited with the man who saved his life. Off-duty Coast Guard rescuer, Jonathan Rivera, happened to be nearby and helped the 21-year-old singer get his head above water after he crashed into a bridge in Miami. The two met in person for the first time since the accident at Kingston’s home.

“I want to thank you man. I love you, my brother,” said a grateful Kingston, who also underwent open heart surgery following the accident.

“It’s a blessing. God is great,” he told “Today’s” Natalie Morales. “I feel like I’m blessed, overcome a tragic situation. Definitely trauma and for me to still be here, it’s only God’s work. I think my work is not done. It wasn’t my time yet.”

The “Beautiful Girls” hitmaker will return to the recording studio next week to work on his third album. He plans to perform his first post-accident concert on the “Today” show.
