Sean Paul perseveres on the uplifting anthem “Hold On,” the third international single from his upcoming album Tomahawk Technique, due overseas on January 30. “Although the road is long, we still hold on/ We carry on, we still stay strong/ Today is long but tomorrow will come,” sings the dancehall star over the pounding beat. Sean Paul is going international with his fifth album Tomahawk Technique. The Mohawk-sporting dancehall star will release the project in France, Belgium, and Switzerland on January 27, followed by Germany and Austria on February 10, and the U.K. and Ireland on March 12. A U.S. date will be announced soon.

Sean Paul sexes up TSA in the video for “She Doesn’t Mind,” the second single from his forthcoming album. The dancehall star sends his female partner-in-crime through security, where she is frisked by a female attendant, but neither seems to mind. Meanwhile, he waits in the airport as the female flight attendants cater to his needs.
“The main concept of the video is that we’ve all been through security, we all know it starts to feel a little personal perhaps when they start patting you down and doing that whole thing,” explained director Evan Winter. “We decided to take it a little ways extra and make it so that we get a little sexy with going through security.”
You’ll never look at airport security the same way.
Sean Paul is taking his dancehall sound international with his new album. The Jamaican superstar spoke with Rap-Up TV about returning to music with help from Akon, Stargate, DJ Ammo, Benny Blanco, and Kelly Rowland, who appears on the cut “How Deep.” “It’s similar to ‘Got 2 Luv U’ with Alexis Jordan,” said Sean of the Stargate-produced, Ester Dean-penned tune. “It’s definitely a dancehall track.”
The Mohawk-sporting singer has collaborated with some of music’s biggest female stars including Beyoncé, Keyshia Cole, and Eve, but he considers his most memorable collaboration to be Rihanna, who he worked with on “Break It Off” from 2006’s A Girl Like Me. During her visit to Jamaica, Sean took the Barbados beauty to check out the beaches and nightlife. “We spent a couple days just chilling out. I took her to the Bob Marley museum, which is something she always wanted to do,” he shared.
Sean has been keeping up with the latest in music and names Wiz Khalifa, Roscoe Dash, and Nicki Minaj among his favorites. “The things she talks about [are] never boring to me. She’s really doing her thing. I’m proud of her,” he said of the Young Money diva. “I think she’s one of the best rappers right now.”
The fifth album from Sean Paul is due next year featuring the singles “Got 2 Luv U” and “She Doesn’t Mind.”
