New Music: B.o.B f/ Sevyn Streeter – ‘Swing My Way’

No Genre Pt. 2

Following their “John Doe” remix, B.o.B and Sevyn Streeter team up once again on “Swing My Way,” a cover of K.P. & Envyi’s 1998 hit of the same name.

The song is the first offering from B.o.B’s upcoming mixtape No Genre Pt. 2, which drops July 9.

The tape is also set to feature an appearance from Mila J. Plus, B.o.B was recently spotted in the studio with Ashanti and Lil Wayne.

After running back to her ex in the video for “nEXt,” Sevyn Streeter sings about an abusive relationship on her latest single “B.A.N.S.” When she finds out that her man, played by Mack Wilds, got his side chick pregnant, she breaks down and commiserates with her girlfriends including Angela Yee.

“I shoulda used protection instead of moving so fast, but I’m a sucker for affection,” she sings.

The song, which she helmed with Da Internz and Eric Bellinger, can be found on her debut EP Call Me Crazy, But….

B.o.B breathes new life into his Underground Luxury single “John Doe” with his remix featuring Sevyn Streeter. The “nEXt” singer fills in for Priscilla Renea on the reworked version, which boasts new production.

Bobby Ray also performed an acoustic rendition of the song with another one of his Atlantic labelmates, JoJo.

Video: Sevyn Streeter f/ Kid Ink – ‘nEXt’

Love gets the best of Sevyn Streeter in the video for “nEXt,” the second single off her debut EP Call Me Crazy, But… In the “Being Mary Jane”-inspired clip, the singer-songwriter channels Gabriel Union’s TV host character. After her man, played by Kid Ink, breaks up with her, she tries to moves on, but ultimately goes back to her ex.

Last year, Sevyn released a 90-second mini video for the song starring Mack Wilds as her leading man.

She also announced on “106 & Park” that she has another surprise in store for “nEXt” that will drop next month.

Sevyn, who wrote Tamar Braxton’s new single “Pieces,” is currently on her U.S. tour, which runs through May 3.
