II.” The singer-songwriter originally penned the song for Diddy-Dirty Money and then recorded a solo version, which was featured in Budweiser’s Super Bowl commercial. In the heartwarming clip, Skylar sings the piano ballad while soldiers reunite with their families.

Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar Party in Vegas for CES

Dr. Dre closed out CES with a bang, hosting Beats by Dr. Dre’s exclusive after-party at LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday night. After showcasing the latest products from Beats Electronics, the hip-hop icon celebrated with will.i.am, Skylar Grey, and Washington Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall.

DJ Axwell provided the evening’s soundtrack, while Kendrick Lamar took the stage to perform his hits including “Swimming Pools (Drank),” “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” and “m.A.A.d city.”

TDE is looking forward to another big year. ScHoolboy Q will drop his album Oxymoron on February 25, while Kendrick is back in the lab working on his sophomore album.

Meanwhile, Dre is gearing up for this month’s launch of Beats Music’s music subscription service, which will compete with Rhapsody, Spotify, and Rdio.

Eminem Performs on ‘SNL’ with Rick Rubin and Skylar Grey

Shady’s back on “SNL.” Just days away from the release of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem returned to “Saturday Night Live” for his sixth appearance.

Following an introduction from host Kerry Washington, Rick Rubin set the stage before turning it over to the blonde MC, who tore the roof off Studio 8H with his single “Berzerk.” As Rubin manned the turntables, Em rocked the mic with some help from Mr. Porter and a live band.

For round two, he performed his DJ Khalil-produced anthem “Survival” with Skylar Grey.

Skylar Grey gets a blast from the past in the video for “Back From the Dead” co-starring Big Sean and Travis Barker. The singer-songwriter is haunted by a former lover as she walks through a museum filled with dioramas, grizzly bears, and grey wolves in the black-and-white clip.

“‘Back From the Dead’ is a song about somebody coming back into your life that you thought you would never see again and it’s like, what do we do now?” said Skylar.

Big Sean appears to be invisible to Skylar as he delivers his verse with skulls and a skeleton by his side.

“Back From the Dead” is the latest single from Skylar’s album Don’t Look Down, which debuted at No. 8 in July.

Grey wolves, grizzly bears, and Big Sean, oh my! Skylar Grey comes alive in the video for “Back From the Dead” co-starring Big Sean and Travis Barker. The singer-songwriter transforms a soundstage into a museum with dioramas and fake animals in the dark clip.

“‘Back From the Dead’ is a song about somebody coming back into your life that you thought you would never see again and it’s like, what do we do now?” said Skylar.

She was joined on set by Barker and Big Sean, whom she met at LAX. “She’s been my homie ever since,” said the Hall of Fame rapper.

“Back From the Dead” is the latest single from Skylar’s album Don’t Look Down, which debuted at No. 8 in July.

New Music: Skylar Grey f/ Big Sean & Travis Barker – ‘Back From the Dead’

Don't Look Down

An ex returns from the past on “Back From the Dead,” the opening track off Skylar Grey’s debut Don’t Look Down. The singer-songwriter grabs a verse from Big Sean and drums from Travis Barker on the piano-driven cut.

“Where do we begin now that you’re back from the dead?” asks Skylar.

Due July 9, the album also features Eminem (“C’mon Let Me Ride”) and Angel Haze (“Shit, Man!”), plus production from Alex Da Kid and J.R. Rotem.

Skylar will launch her “Don’t Look Down” tour in Philadelphia on July 9.
