You’ve heard the trash talking and name calling, now watch Bow Wow battle The Game in a Madden NFL ‘09 showdown on Xbox 360. Rap-Up TV was in Hollywood on Friday to catch all the action and ass-kicking as it happened.

It’s official. The Game is king when it comes to playing Madden NFL ‘09. The Compton rapper took on Bow Wow in an Xbox 360 challenge on Friday in Hollywood. After trash talking for the past few weeks through video blogs, the two finally settled the score and faced off to see who was the real video game champ. In the end, The Game won bragging rights with a final score of 55-23.

The Game rocked the Union Jack while performing “My Life” Thursday night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” The song doesn’t sound nearly as good live without Weezy.

Bow Wow vs. The Game Madden NFL Face Off

Bow Wow aka “Lamborghini Moss” and The Game aka “Mr. L.A.X.” will put their money where their mouths are when they face off in a Madden NFL ‘09 video game challenge presented by Xbox 360 and Konsole Kingz on Friday, September 5th in Los Angeles.

The event will kick-off with a weigh-in ceremony followed by the two going head-to-head in a game of Madden NFL ’09 on Xbox 360. The winner will claim Madden domination and bragging rights.

The Game’s ‘L.A.X.’ Inches Its Way to No. 1

The Game’s third album L.A.X. will debut at the top of the charts next week, but only by a nose. Game sold 238,285 units, besting No. 2’s Slipknot by only 14 copies. This makes Game’s third consecutive No. 1 album, but lowest first-week sales of his career. Both 2005’s The Documentary (587,000) and 2006’s Doctor’s Advocate (358,000) debuted at No. 1.

Solange Knowles’ SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams comes in at #9 with 46,300 sold.

UPDATE: According to Billboard, Slipknot in fact beat The Game to debut at No. 1. The rockers moved 239,516 copies, only 1,134 more than L.A.X. at 238,382.

Video: The Game Responds to Bow Wow…Again

The Game has issued a second response to Bow Wow’s challenge. What originally started as a Madden NFL ‘09 match for $100,000 has turned into a back and forth battle between the two rappers. Even Ciara and Mya got pulled into the mix.

In his latest video, Game attempts to call Bow Wow’s mother and 50 Cent. He then proceeds to talk to Bow Wow while pulling open the waistband on his boxers. Classy.

Oh yeah, and L.A.X. drops next week.
