Stream T.I.’s Album ‘Paperwork’

All hail the King. A week before its release, T.I. has made his ninth album Paperwork available to stream in its entirety via iTunes First Play.

Executive produced by Pharrell Williams, the follow-up to 2012′s Trouble Man features the Iggy Azalea-assisted hit “No Mediocre,” “About the Money” with Young Thug, and the Pharrell-aided title track.

Other guests populating the 18-track deluxe edition include Usher, Chris Brown, Jeezy, Boosie, The-Dream, and Rick Ross. Tip pays tribute to his late friend Doe B on “Light ‘Em Up” and addresses the Michael Brown shooting on the powerful “New National Anthem” featuring Skylar Grey.

Paperwork marks the first album in a trilogy. “The sound sonically of this one is soulful, musical, kinda like [OutKast's] Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik or Aquemini or [Jay Z's] Blueprint,” said T.I. “It just has an incredible amount of soul and a perfect hybrid between the ahead-of-the-curve, new-school sound and the classic, nostalgic, soulful sound of yesteryear.”

New Music: T.I. f/ Pharrell – ‘Paperwork’

T.I. shares his tale of hustling on the title track off his upcoming album Paperwork. The Grand Hustle chief reminisces about learning the ropes from his Uncle Quentin and dealing drugs at age 17, while Pharrell provides the soulful hook and production.

“[It] pretty much kinda sums up the tone of the album,” Tip told MTV News of the track. “The cinematic presentation of it all. When you listen to the album, top to bottom, it kinda sounds like the score to a movie and I think ‘Paperwork’ is the perfect introduction to that.”

Paperwork drops October 21 featuring Usher, Chris Brown, Jeezy, Boosie, The-Dream, Rick Ross, and Pharrell, who also serves as the album’s executive producer.
