The super-producer took viewers on his path to becoming one of music’s most influential figures and revealed some secrets including the time he contemplated suicide after his drastic weight gain and his love for Aaliyah.

The 45-minute episode also featured commentary from Timbo’s friends and collaborators including Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Keri Hilson, and his wife and parents.

The Throne is getting remixed Timbaland-style. The super-producer premiered his live remix of the Hit-Boy-produced song off Watch the Throne during a DJ gig at Passion nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Timbo beat-boxed and freestyled over the beat as clubgoers ate it up. Now that shit’s cray.

Timbaland is making some shocking revelations to E! in his “True Hollywood” special. The super-producer, born Timothy Mosley, opens about building the careers of superstars Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott, suicidal thoughts, and secret love for Aaliyah.

On Aaliyah: “When I first met Aaliyah—it’s time for the world to hear this, I’m gonna give up a little secret—I was in love with her. I said, But I’m not… She just a baby, I’m old. I said to myself, ‘I’m just gonna be her brother.’ Oh man, I was fightin’, I was fightin’ a lot—a big war. But I loved Aaliyah.”

On Justin Timberlake: “Me and Justin, it’s the weirdest thing. We just say we’re gonna kill them and then we kill them…We get together, we break bread and we spill out music. That’s what we do.”

On Missy Elliott: “She was just super dope…she was God-sent; that was my sister.”

On his weight gain: “I was almost 400 pounds. Who wants to be a 400-pound black man? I’m looking in the mirror, my breast is bigger than a girl breast. And I was saying, ‘That ain’t cool.’ So I got very depressed, like suicidal depressed.”

On his marriage to wife Monique: “It’s probably hard to be married to me. It’s not easy. I’m a musical genius. I’m weird, I do crazy things, it’s not like the average norm. But I’m a loving guy.”

Timbaland hits the studio with Sebastian to unleash a preview of their collaborative cut “This Lady.” The bumping pop jam sees the artists singing through Auto-Tune filters about an extra special girl who’s a cut above the rest. “I said this lady, her nationality’s kind of crazy / This lady only bumps the music from the ‘80s / This lady she’s well-spoken and educated,” croons Timbo. Cole’s debut Cole World, the hip-hop vet joins former Disney star Demi Lovato on the speaker-rattling “All Night Long,” a cut off her third album Unbroken (Sept. 20). Missy celebrates the weekend on the party anthem produced by her longtime collaborator Timbaland.

“It’s about staying up all night long and singing it to the boy that you like, and it’s flirty and fun and it’s not too grown-up, but it’s grown-up enough,” the 19-year-old singer told MTV News.

While Eve preps her oft-delayed new album, Timbaland reaches back into the vault and unleashes a previously unheard joint from the rapper for this week’s Timbaland Thursdays. E-V-E spits over the Timbo-produced beat for Fabolous and Ne-Yo’s “Make Me Better,” which she also recorded.

“Ayo this a little story about a chick that’s in love/ She was on cloud nine, thought she had that shit from above/ And it took wild time just to figure out who he was,” raps the Philly MC over the breakup tune.
