Tinashe and ScHoolboy Q Get ’2 On’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Tinashe celebrated the release of Aquarius with an appearance on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Sporting blue leather sweatpants and a halter top, the L.A. singer showed out with her moves while performing her DJ Mustard-produced single “2 On.” TDE’s ScHoolboy Q joined her to spit his verse on the top 25 hit.

Q’s mother also got some camera time by participating in Kimmel’s recurring “Words From Your Mother” skit. She read the explicit lyrics to his hit “Collard Greens” before proudly declaring, “That’s my baby.”

Later in the evening, Q brought out Tinashe during his show at the Hollywood Bowl.

Tinashe Performs National Anthem at Dodgers Game

Tinashe returned to Dodger Stadium for the second time in five months to perform the national anthem. Prior to Game 2 of the NLDS between the L.A. Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals, the L.A. singer—clad in her Dodgers jersey—took the field to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Not only did she deliver a winning performance, but the Dodgers won 3-2.

“Great win @Dodgers!!! Thanks for having me sing tonight!” tweeted Tinashe, whose mother cheered her on from the sidelines.

In just two days, her debut album Aquarius will hit stores featuring the hit single “2 On” and “Pretend” with A$AP Rocky.

She recently shot a video for Kid Ink’s new single “Body Language” with Usher, and is featured on Calvin Harris’ upcoming album Motion.

Stream Tinashe’s Debut Album ‘Aquarius’

After owning the summer with her ScHoolboy Q-assisted hit “2 On,” Tinashe will release her debut album Aquarius on October 7. A week before it officially hits stores, R&B’s breakout star has teamed up with Dazed to stream the project in its entirety.

The 18 tracks include appearances from A$AP Rocky (“Pretend”), Future (“How Many Times”), and Devonté Hynes (“Bet”), with production from Boi-1da, Mike WiLL Made-It, Jasper, and Stargate.

Aquarius is my official album introduction to the world and represents a new season of music and art,” said Tinashe. “I cannot wait to finally share with the world what I have been working so hard on for the past few years. This is just the beginning.”

New Music: Tinashe f/ Devonté Hynes – ‘Bet’

In just eight days, Tinashe will release her debut album Aquarius. Following “Feels Like Vegas,” the R&B sensation teams with Devonté Hynes aka Blood Orange on “Bet,” produced by DJ Dahi and Blood Diamonds. Over a slowed-down and hypnotizing beat, the sultry songstress masters the art of seduction.

“Pay no mind to what the doubters all say / I’ma be around forever always / You can bet on it,” she coos.

Due October 7, Aquarius features ScHoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky and Future, with production from Boi-1da, Jasper Cameron, Stargate, and Mike WiLL Made-It.

Tianshe has also been in the studio with B.o.B and Big K.R.I.T. working on new music.
