Toni Braxton is on the mend after experiencing some painful “flare ups” resulting from her Lupus condition.

The 43-year-old singer checked into a Los Angeles hospital on Monday. “I wanted to say thanks to all my fans for their support, as I have been experiencing some flare ups with my Lupus which has me in the hospital for a few days,” she told TMZ.

Despite the initial scare, she is doing fine. “I wanted to clear the record before rumors started, and will totally be fine as I’m blessed to having an amazing family for support.”

Braxton, who revealed her battle with the disease last year, took to Twitter to assure her fans that she is OK. “Hey guys! I’m sure you’ve heard rumors about me being in the hospital, they are in fact, true. I’ve been here since Monday but I am fine!” she tweeted. “Just a lupus flare up, but I promise you all I am ok! Love you all! Thanks so much for all of your support!”

TMZ explains that Lupus is a condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue. It can target different body systems including joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, the heart, and lungs.

Nothing was off limits when Toni Braxton sat down with Chelsea Handler on her talk show. The Grammy-winning diva opened up about dating a white man (“I’m playing in the snow”), the scents of different races, going on dates with her ex-husband, and she even said a few words in Russian. The stunning Toni Braxton showed no signs of age as she was inducted by Gov. Nathan Deal after her sisters allegedly bailed on their scheduled performance (look for the drama to unfold on next season’s “Braxton Family Values”). The “Un-Break My Heart” singer, who was born in Maryland and moved Atlanta in the ‘90s, showed her appreciation by singing a line from “Georgia on My Mind.”

Bieber performed an acoustic medley of hits including Matchbox Twenty’s “3 A.M.,” Usher’s “U Got It Bad,” and his own “Baby,” as the young girls in the audience shrieked with delight.

Toni Braxton is thinking about doing business with the house that Hugh Hefner built. The R&B chanteuse is still considering an offer from Playboy to pose on the cover of the men’s magazine.

“They asked me. I was really flattered, and they’ve asked me a few times in the past,” the star of WE tv’s “Braxton Family Values” told Wendy Williams. “But one of the reasons I was more excited was because it was after I’d been sick, and I just didn’t feel sexy and I thought I’d lost my mojo. And when they asked me, I was like, ‘Oh, they think I’m sexy? My boobies hang down to here a little bit!’ I was really flattered.”

But she’s still on the fence about stripping down on account of her sons. “I haven’t decided. One of the reasons I’m hesitant is because of my boys. I don’t want their friends to come to school and say, ‘I saw your mommy’s boobies!’” she explained. “It wouldn’t be a full spread. Just a little T and A.”

And while the hostess made reference to a $100,000 offer from Playboy, Toni shot down rumors of the payout on her Twitter page, stating that she would only do it for an undisclosed amount or for charity. “Who started this rumor that I’d do Playboy for 100,000? No way! If I considered Playboy it would be for an undisclosed amount or for charity,” she wrote.

A white-hot Toni Braxton, along with her four sisters and mother, dazzled on the pink carpet at the premiere of their WE tv docu-series “Braxton Family Values” at The London West Hollywood on Wednesday (April 6). The ladies, including Tamar, Evelyn, Traci, Towanda, and Trina, chatted with the press and posed for the flashing cameras.

The reality program, which premieres April 12, gives viewers an inside look at the tight-knit family’s lives as they face drama including sibling rivalry, relationship struggles, bankruptcy, and a DUI.

Toni was hesitant about doing the show at first, but gave in after convincing from her youngest sister Tamar. “She said you should tell your story because they know you as an artist, but they don’t know you as a sister and a mom and a friend, and you should expose that side,” she told “Access Hollywood.”

Toni Braxton shined a light on New York City during her visit to the Empire State Building today. The mother of two appeared with Autism Speaks co-founders Bob and Suzanne Wright to illuminate the Big Apple tower in blue to honor World Autism Awareness Month.

During the ceremony, the star of WE tv’s “Braxton Family Values” got teary-eyed when speaking about her autistic son Diezel. “When I first found out he was autistic, I was a mess,” she recalled. “I blamed myself, I thought it was something I’d done. And out of nowhere, Suzanne Wright reached out to me and said, ‘You’re not a victim. And together, we’re gonna hold hands and we’re gonna walk through this and we’re gonna help your son Diezel.’”

The Grammy-winning singer posed in a flowing purple gown while kissing chocolate Easter bunnies. Collectors and fans can bid on 85 porcelain Lindt Gold Bunny figures autographed by celebrities including Toni, Fergie, Nick Cannon, Celine Dion, and more, with all proceeds benefitting Autism Speaks.

The autism advocacy organization holds a special place in the mother of two’s heart. “As a mother of a son with autism, this is a cause that I am very passionate about,” stated Toni. “I’m excited to be a part of the Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction, and honored to have the opportunity to help raise funds and awareness for Autism Speaks.”

Of course it will be tastefully done.”

She’s bared her soul throughout her career, but Toni Braxton is ready to show a bit more. The sexy singer has revealed that she’s thinking of taking up Playboy‘s offer to appear on the cover this year.

The Grammy-winning songbird previously told Rap-Up that she didn’t see the big deal with showing a little skin. “[Playboy has] asked. I just can’t do the bottom thing because that’s really, really intimate and really personal. But boobies, what is it? A dime a dozen. You can buy some for $5,000. Who cares?”

Before gracing the magazine’s cover, the “Un-Break My Heart” songstress will star in the reality show “Braxton Family Values,” premiering April 12 on WE tv. The 10-episode series follows Braxton as well as her mom and four sisters.

Keri Hilson jetted back to Atlanta to attend music executive Devyne Stephens’ 3rd annual Winter Wonderland Christmas gala at Buckhead Theatre on Wednesday night (Dec. 22). The festive evening featured a performance from Babyface and drew attendees such as Kelly Rowland, Toni Braxton, Jermaine Dupri, and Jazze Pha.

Guests at the white carpet cocktail reception, benefitting Devyne Intervention and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, were greeted by Santa Claus and live reindeer, Nutcracker drummers, angels, ballerinas, and toy soldiers.

Miss Keri will pop bottles with Lloyd and Polow Da Don in her hometown tonight to celebrate her album release. No Boys Allowed is expected to sell 90-100,000 copies in its first week.
