Tyga has been busy promoting his album Hotel California, but he took the day off to visit Disneyland with his family. The “Dope” rapper and his girlfriend Blac Chyna had a blast at the Happiest Place on Earth with their son King Cairo.
The family was all smiles as they posed for a photo with Mickey Mouse. Tyga donned a Goofy hat and held his six-month-old baby, while Blac Chyna kept it cute in Minnie Mouse ears.
Hotel Californiadebuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, selling 54,000 copies in its first week.
Tyga will head to Europe on his “Hotel California” tour, which kicks off April 30 in Germany. He also plans to shoot a video for “For the Road,” his collaboration with Chris Brown.
DJ Felli Fel lets success do the talking on his anthem “Reason to Hate.” The Power 106 DJ enlists the all-star team of Ne-Yo, Tyga, and Wiz Khalifa for the club banger. T-Raww raps about his “mansion by Nicki’s crib,” Wiz gets love in the club, and Ne-Yo drives it home with the hook. Haters, chew on this.
Production powerhouse Major Lazer pays homage to the big booties on “Bubble Butt” off their upcoming album Free the Universe. The twerking anthem features a nasty verse from Tyga and an irresistible hook from Bruno Mars.
“Bubble butt, turn around, stick it out, show the world you got a…,” commands the R&B crooner.
Due April 16, Free the Universe also features Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, Wynter Gordon, Ms. Dynamite, Vampire Weekend, and more.
Tyga takes us on a trippy ride into the future in the Colin Tilley-directed video for “Molly” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Mally Mall. The imaginative clip, dedicated to the popular party drug, features robots, UV lights, and pills. Tyga transforms into half-man, half-robot, while his co-star Wiz fills his lungs with reefer in the club.
“I wanted to mix I, Robot with a little Alice in Wonderland. I wanted to make it real trippy for ya’ll and just make it crazy,” said the Young Money rapper.
The song will appear on Tyga’s album Hotel California, available Tuesday. In addition to Wiz, the guest list includes Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Future, 2 Chainz, and Jadakiss.
Sit back and experience the wild effects of “Molly.”
Tyga resurrects Tupac on “Hit ‘Em Up,” a posthumous collaboration off his new album Hotel California. The DJ Mustard-produced track samples the hook from C-Murder’s “Down 4 My Ni**az” and includes a previously unreleased verse from the late West Coast legend.
“A lot of people think it’s a remake of ‘Hit ‘Em Up,’ his song—which it’s not a remake, it’s original,” Tyga told MTV News of the song, which borrows its title from Tupac’s 1996 Biggie diss. “When you’re talking about ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ you ain’t really dissing nobody, but you lettin’ it be known that you don’t rock with certain people.”
New York MC Jadakiss also makes an appearance, but Tyga originally had plans to feature another rapper. “I wanted Nicki to be on the song at first and then we never did it, so then I went back to the song later,” he said.
Due April 9, Hotel California also features collaborations with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Future, 2 Chainz, and Wiz Khalifa.
Take a ride on the west side with T-Raww and Tupac.
Life on the road can be hard on a relationship. Tyga apologizes to his girl for his absence on “Fuck for the Road,” his latest collaboration with Chris Brown.
The Young Money MC tries to make it up to her by buying her Rolexes and Louis Vuitton bags, but realizes it may not be enough to keep her happy. Before saying goodbye, there’s one last thing he must do.
“It’s no way I could pay you back, but my plan is to make you understand,” raps Tyga, while Breezy sings the hook on the slow jam. “But if you leave, there’s something I can’t control, so let’s do it one last time and fuck for the road.”
Due April 9, Tyga’s album Hotel California also features Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Future, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Jadakiss, and Tupac.
