New Music: Tyga – ‘Make It Work’

Make It Work

But Tyga says the song was recorded before his spat with Drake. “Make it work been done. #BlackThoughts3 or #TheGoldAlbum,” he said.

Tyga is working on three new projects, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, mixtape Black Thoughts 3, and his collaborative album with Chris Brown, Fan of a Fan.

Last night, he joined Wiz Khalifa on stage during the latter’s “Blacc Hollywood Big Secret Tour” at the House of Blues in L.A.

40 Mill

Tyga won’t be caged in. Days after his public fallout with Young Money, the L.A. rapper is moving forward with the release of his new single “40 Mill.” The Yeezus-inspired track, which he released to iTunes via his label Last Kings Music, finds him teaming with producers Kanye West and Mike Dean.

In protest of Young Money, Tyga threatened to leak his album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, which was set to drop November 18. “Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can't release nothing. might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it,” he tweeted.

Young Money president Mack Maine fired back, crediting the label for building Tyga’s career, and his labelmate Nicki Minaj reportedly stopped following him on Twitter.

As he gears up for the November 18 release of The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, Tyga has shared a snippet of his new single “40 Mill,” co-produced by Kanye West and Mike Dean.
