Usher Shows Off Buff Body

Usher

You can tell Usher is close to releasing a new album because he’s back in shape. The strapping bachelor flexed his muscles while mean mugging for the camera. He shared the results of his intense workout sessions with his fans, boasting, “Livin’ Legend!!!”

On Monday, rumors surfaced that he was killed in a car accident, but thankfully it was just a Twitter hoax. “I must’ve died and went to heaven…Alive and cold kickin ass!!” responded the 33-year-old.

Usher’s seventh studio album Looking for Myself will arrive on June 12 featuring the Diplo-produced single “Climax” and contributions from Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, and Max Martin, plus a duet with his protégé Justin Bieber.

Usher Gets Up Close with Wild Animals in Africa

Usher

Cheetahs, owls, and Usher, oh my! With his sexy single “Climax” burning up radio and VEVO, Usher escaped to South Africa this week with his friend and producer Rico Love. While there, he adventured to a wildlife park, where he pet a cheetah and held a couple owls.

“If ya’ll didn’t know I love owls,” said Ursh. “Eagle owls are one of my favorites. Say what up to ‘Howdidit’ and ‘Hootie Hoo.’”

The smooth operator was even able to charm a cheetah. “Cool Kats chillin in the shade,” he wrote.

Usher will headline the Hansa Festival of Legends at Orlando Stadium in Soweto today. Check out more photos from his wild African adventure below.

Usher to Premiere ‘Climax’ Video Tomorrow

Climax

Usher is serving up the suspense in the video for “Climax,” which will premiere simultaneously in the U.S., U.K., and Canada on Friday, March 9, at 5 a.m. EST/10 a.m. U.K. time on the VEVO platform.

Directed by Sam Pilling, the dramatic clip was shot in Atlanta and captures the intensity of the Diplo-produced lead single off Usher’s upcoming album, due later this spring.

Despite the song’s sexy title, it has nothing to do with sex. “It’s odd that people view ‘Climax’ as a sexual song,” Usher told Atlanta’s V-103. “It’s not. It’s not even about sex. It’s really about the ultimate experience or finale of an experience of love and life.”
