Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland, R. Kelly, & Rick Ross Perform at Chicago’s Big Jam

Chicago was the place to be last night as hip-hop and R&B’s finest came to town to perform at WGCI’s Big Jam 2012 at Allstate Arena. The star-studded bill featured Usher, Rick Ross, Keyshia Cole, Kelly Rowland, Fat Joe, and Future.

Keyshia brought down the house with her latest singles “Enough of No Love” and “Trust and Believe,” Kelly Rowland turned up the heat with “Motivation,” and Usher shared the stage with Rick Ross for “Lemme See.”

Fresh from his “Single Ladies” tour, Chi-town’s own R. Kelly delivered a surprise set much to the delight of the hometown crowd.

Usher, Jennifer Hudson, & Celine Dion Salute Whitney Houston on Grammy Special

Some of music and Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Whitney Houston during the tribute special “We Will Always Love You: A GRAMMY Salute to Whitney Houston,” which aired last night on CBS. The one-hour event featured performances from those Whitney inspired, with presenters including Halle Berry, Britney Spears, Taraji P. Henson, Clive Davis, and LL Cool J.

Jennifer Hudson had the audience on its feet with a dance medley of “I’m Every Woman,” “How Will I Know,” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me).” Celine Dion paid homage to her fellow diva with one of her personal faves, “The Greatest Love of All.” Usher performed “I Believe in You and Me” from The Preacher’s Wife soundtrack, and CeCe Winans and Yolanda Adams dueted on “Count on Me” as Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and other members of her family looked on.

Plus, the show included footage from the late legend’s first-ever television appearance on “The Merv Griffin Show,” her unforgettable rendition of the national anthem at Super Bowl XXV in 1991, and her iconic performance of “I Will Always Love You” at the 1994 Grammys.

Video: Ludacris f/ Usher & David Guetta – ‘Rest of My Life’

Ludacris and Usher live life to the fullest in the video for their empowering record “Rest of My Life.” The ATLiens perform on a smoke-covered road and wave their lighters as motivational images flash across the screen. David Guetta speeds in a smart car, a shirtless Luda waves the U.S. flag, and even NBA star Chris Paul makes a cameo.

Luda pitched the collaboration to Usher while they were flying in first class. “Never did a record like this in my life, crazy how this came together,” he said. “I’ve been on a million Usher records. This is my first record featuring Usher. History has been made.”

The David Guetta-produced track will appear on Luda’s upcoming album Ludaversal, due early next year.

Behind the Video: Ludacris f/ Usher & David Guetta – ‘Rest of My Life’

Ludacris links up with fellow ATLien Usher in the video for his dance floor-ready record “Rest of My Life.” The David Guetta-produced single appears on his upcoming album Ludaversal, due early next year.

Luda happened to be sitting next to Usher in first class and pitched him the record on the plane. “Never did a record like this in my life, crazy how this came together,” he said. “I’ve been on a million Usher records. This is my first record featuring Usher. History has been made.”

The video will premiere overseas during the 2012 MTV EMA pre-show on Sunday, November 11, and in the U.S. at 3 p.m. EST on MTV.

New Music: Ludacris f/ Usher & David Guetta – ‘Rest of My Life’

Ludacris switches lanes on his brand new single “Rest of My Life.” Following the release of “Jingalin’” and “Representin” with Kelly Rowland, the Atlanta rapper teams with Usher and David Guetta on the dance floor-ready record, for which a video has already been shot.

“Got somewhere to go, but the world is moving slow/ I was born for the fast life,” croons Usher before the fist-pumping beat kicks in.

The song will be available on iTunes tomorrow and is set to appear on Ludacris’ upcoming album Ludaversal, due early next year.

Ludacris Readies New Single with Usher and David Guetta

Rest of My Life

With “Representin” featuring Kelly Rowland still burning up airwaves, Ludacris gets ready to launch his next single. The Atlanta rapper shakes up the dance floor with Usher and DJ David Guetta on “Rest of My Life.”

The song will debut tomorrow at 8 a.m. EST on Ludaversal.com and hit iTunes on November 2. A video was shot earlier this month.

Usher Plays Blond German News Reporter in ‘Late Night’ Skit

It’s Usher like you’ve never seen him before. The R&B heartthrob displays his comedic chops, playing a German political correspondent in a sketch for “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” The “Climax” singer rocks a blond wig and foreign accent as he ties the presidential election to the video game Dance Central 3, showing off some moves during his report.
