New Music: Mariah Carey f/ Wale – ‘You Don’t Know What to Do’

Just last week, Mariah Carey and Wale debuted their collaboration “You Don’t Know What to Do” live on the “Today” summer concert series. Now the studio version of their summery duet has arrived via “The Russ Parr Morning Show.”

The bouncy disco-soul jam, produced by Jermaine Dupri, will appear on Mariah’s upcoming album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.

The pop diva belts out some big notes, while Wale gets into the groove with his verse (“Me and Mariah go back like babies and pacifiers”).

Due May 27, the album also features appearances from Nas, Fabolous, Miguel, and Dem Babies.

Mariah Carey and Wale Debut New Song on ‘Today’

The “Today” show summer concert series kicked off with a performance from one of the best-selling female artists of all time. Mariah Carey took over New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza to promote her upcoming album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, due May 27.

Wearing a sparkly black gown and a black fingerless glove, the glamorous singer performed new and old hits including “Always Be My Baby” and “Touch My Body.” She also brought out Wale to debut a new song off her album called “You Don’t Know What to Do.”

“I love you New York City!” said Mariah as she serenaded her hometown crowd.

She will also sit down with Matt Lauer for a primetime special called “Me. I Am Mariah,” airing May 31 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

New Music: K Camp f/ Wale – ‘Off the Floor’

Off the Floor

K Camp is all about his money. Following his collaboration with 2 Chainz, the Atlanta-raised rapper teams with Wale on his strip club-ready record “Off the Floor,” produced by Big Fruit.

“I been gettin’ money / I ain’t worried ’bout a ho,” raps K Camp over the clapping beat.

The song will appear on his upcoming debut EP In Due Time, which will be released on FTE/Interscope.

He also recently shot a video for “Cut Her Off” in L.A.

New Music: Miguel f/ Wale – ‘Bennie and the Jets’

In honor of the 40th anniversary of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Elton John is set to reissue his seventh album. Due March 25, the two-disc deluxe edition includes remastered versions of Elton’s classics and covers from today’s popular artists including Ed Sheeran, Emeli SandĂ©, Fall Out Boy, Hunter Hayes, and Miguel.

The R&B crooner pays tribute to the pop icon on a remake of his ’70s chart-topper “Bennie and the Jets” featuring his “Lotus Flower Bomb” collaborator Wale.

New Music: Wale – ‘King Slayer’

Ahead of the show’s April 6 premiere, HBO has enlisted 10 rappers for its Game of Thrones-inspired mixtape, Catch the Throne. The free hip-hop and reggaeton compilation will be available for download on March 7 featuring Common, Daddy Yankee, Big Boi, Magazeen, and Wale, who contributes the theme song “King Slayer.”

Over an epic beat, the D.C. rapper murders the competition with his razor-sharp rhymes.

He is also in the studio working on The Album About Nothing, due later this summer.
