New Music: Lorde f/ Wale & Rick Ross – ‘Royals (Remix)’

Royals Remix

With The Album About Nothing on the way, Wale returns to social media with the launch of his new Tumblr page EveryBlueMoon.com. One of the first things he posted was a remix to New Zealand songstress Lorde’s No. 1 hit “Royals.”

The remix features a previously released verse from Rick Ross. Wale switches things up with an entirely new beat and Magazeen adds his dancehall flow.

The D.C. rapper has also penned a letter to his fans, in which he addresses his absence from social media, his haters, and his issues with certain media outlets.

Going forward, he promises to focus less on the critics and more on his fans. “I may never be the biggest rapper in the world (still one of the best doe), but I’ll be the most dedicated to my fans and it starts with this right here,” he wrote. “This is rare. This is REAL. This is about us. This is about the music again. My ReRE -Dedication to greatness.”
