Wiz Khalifa Talks Tour, Weed, & Work Ethic on ‘Chelsea Lately’

Wiz Khalifa

After announcing his “Under the Influence of Music” tour with Jeezy and Tyga, Wiz Khalifa stopped by “Chelsea Lately” on Tuesday. With guest host T.J. Miller filling in for Chelsea, the “We Dem Boyz” rapper discussed everything from his pre-show rituals (“I listen to old-school music and smoke a lot of weed”) to his love for marijuana.

The superstar stoner admitted that he doesn’t have to spend a dime to support his habit. “I get it for free,” said Wiz, who has his own brand of weed called Khalifa Kush.

Despite his success, he hasn’t stopped working hard, crediting his humble beginnings for keeping him motivated.

“I’m really into what I do just in general. I love music,” said Wiz. “Being from Pittsburgh, I really didn’t have too much growing up, so I had to make everything on my own. Just having that instilled in me, I think is going to last for the rest of my life.”

Wiz’ album Blacc Hollywood is due later this year.
