Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea closed out the American Music Awards with a mesmerizing performance of “Booty.” The ladies had the censors on high alert as they staged the remix to the rump shaker. J.Lo flaunted her assets in a sexy black-and-white leotard before meeting up with Iggy for some booty-on-booty action. Iggy smacked J.Lo’s ass while both ladies twerked in front of the projection screen.

After a quick change, J.Lo performed what Shazam calls her new song “Throw Your Hair Back.”

“Say ladies, come on lose control / Let it out / Throw your hair back on the floor,” she commanded.

Mary J. Blige Performs ‘Therapy’ at AMAs

All hail Queen Mary. Following performances from Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, and Lorde, Mary J. Blige brought down the house at the AMAs with her stirring set. Dressed in all black, MJB performed her soulful single “Therapy” off her upcoming album The London Sessions, due December 2. Sam Smith, who penned the song, was in the front row watching.

“Such an honour to witness this legend sing one of my songs tonight,” wrote the British crooner. “Thank you for guiding me and being such an amazing friend.”

All gold everything. Following their solo performances, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj returned to the AMA stage to perform their top 10 smash “Bang Bang” with Jessie J. The British sensation made her way through the aisles, dancing with Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Lorde, and her boyfriend Luke James before meeting up with Ariana and Nicki onstage.

The ladies, decked out in gold, dazzled the crowd with their explosive set.

Fergie and YG Perform ‘L.A.LOVE (la la)’ at AMAs

California love. Fergie brought her West Coast party to the AMAs on Sunday. In her first televised performance in six years, the Black Eyed Peas singer performed her new single “L.A.LOVE (la la)” with help from DJ Mustard and YG. Wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier leotard, Ferg Ferg transformed the stage into La La Land, complete with palm trees, chola dancers, and a party bus.

Her first album in eight years is due in early 2015 featuring a collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

Immediately following Lil Wayne’s set at Sunday’s AMAs, Nicki Minaj graced the stage at Nokia Theatre for the first full performance of her new single “Bed of Lies.” Looking stunning in a white gown, the rap queen showed who’s the boss, while Skylar Grey backed her on piano.

The powerful track will appear on Nicki’s upcoming album The Pinkprint, due December 15.

Lil Wayne and Christina Milian Debut ‘Start a Fire’ at AMAs

Ring the alarm. Lil Wayne heat up the stage with the debut performance of his new single “Start a Fire” at Sunday’s AMAs. The Young Money chief was joined by rumored girlfriend and YMCMB labelmate Christina Milian on their duet, which is set to appear on Weezy’s oft-delayed album Tha Carter V.

“This record has actually been around for a second and actually while we were filming the show,” Christina told E! Online. “His manager Cortez heard the song and was like, ‘Wayne needs this on his album’ and literally when we were filming the episode while we were in the studio; that’s how that whole thing happened.”

Tha Carter V is scheduled to drop on December 9, while Christina will star in her own reality series, “Christina Milian Turned Up,” which premieres on E! in early 2015.
