Prince Performs ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ at Billboard Music Awards

Music royalty blessed the stage at the Billboard Music Awards. From Madonna to Celine Dion, the three-hour show was full of superstars including the one-and-only Prince. Erykah Badu and Janelle Monáe honored the legendary performer with the Icon Award before he closed with his classic “Let’s Go Crazy.”

“He’s a visionary. He breaks new ground,” said Janelle, while Erykah added, “Fearless, individual, creative, controversial.”

The Purple One rocked the mic and the guitar while jamming with his all-female band. Bow in the presence of greatness.

Ass, ass, ass. Nicki Minaj showed off her most famous asset during her booty-ful performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. The voluptuous rap diva, who won three awards including Top Rap Album, took the stage to perform her single “High School” with Lil Wayne. She even gave Weezy a lap dance that left a priceless expression on his face.

The Young Money boss summed it up best. “All that ass,” he said.

will.i.am and Justin Bieber Perform ‘#thatPOWER’ at Billboard Music Awards

After performing solo earlier in the evening, Justin Bieber took the stage with will.i.am to perform “#thatPOWER.” The Black Eyed Peas frontman delivered a futuristic set complete with synchronized dance moves.

“we killed it bro. Love u man. #thatpower,” Bieber told will.

will.i.am presented the Top Touring Artist to Madonna, while the Biebs scored three awards including the Milestone Award.

Miguel brought his smooth moves to the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Dressed in a crisp white suit, the R&B crooner performed his hit single “Adorn.”

But the performance took a turn for the worse. While trying to jump across the stage, he landed on top of a female fan. But he kept it moving, finishing out the performance.

Not to worry, the girl was OK and was seen backstage doing an interview with Miguel.

“got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay,” he later tweeted.

Pitbull and Christina Aguilera blew the roof off the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas with an electrifying performance of “Feel This Moment” at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.

Following an intro from his tourmate Ke$ha, Mr. 305 had the crowd dancing along as Xtina showed off her powerful pipes. The duo closed by bringing out A-ha’s Morten Harket to perform the band’s ’80s hit “Take on Me,” which they sampled.

All aboard Air Bieber. Justin Bieber took his fans on a journey during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards. The teen idol, who showed off his tattoos with one sleeveless arm, performed “Take You” as chosen by his fans in an online poll.

Following an introduction from Ariana Grande, he emerged from a glass spaceship wearing drop-crotch leather pants, singing and dancing to the cut off his album Believe.

He later won the award for Top Male Artist, beating Drake and Flo Rida.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Perform ‘Thrift Shop’ at Billboard Music Awards

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis started from the bottom and worked their way up to the Billboard Music Awards. The independent duo performed their chart-topping hit “Thrift Shop” during a pre-taped performance from Tryst nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. They later picked up the award for Top Rap Song.

“Gotta thank Goodwill, gotta thank Value Village,” said Macklemore after his win.
