Rihanna was a show stopper in a glittery Givenchy gown while walking the red carpet at the BRIT Awards 2012 in London on Tuesday (Feb. 21). The blonde pop starlet picked up the award for International Female Solo Artist for the second year in a row, thanking her fans for their continued support.

“At times when I feel misunderstood, my fans always remind me that it’s OK to be myself and I’ll never forget you for that,” said RiRi while accepting her award.

Rihanna performed a rosy medley of her hits at this evening’s BRIT Awards 2011 in London. The Bajan diva emerged from behind a curtain made of strings, setting off the performance with a rendition of “Only Girl (In the World)” while rocking a red corset accented by collar made of roses and a flowing cape.

She later ripped off the crimson outfit to reveal a lacy black getup while singing her controversial hit “S&M,” moving to the front of the stage before a fire pit to lead a circle of drummers for “What’s My Name?” While at the ceremony, the dynamic diva also won for Best International Female Artist, beating out Alicia Keys, Robyn, Kylie Minogue, and Katy Perry.

Following her two performances at the Grammy Awards, Rihanna crossed the pond and arrived in style at the BRIT Awards 2011, taking place this evening in London. The crimson-haired songstress, who is nominated for Best International Female Artist, was all smiles as she posed on the red carpet, looking vibrant in a flowery purple top, a lime green bow tied at the waist, and an electric blue ruffled skirt to match her heels.

Critics’ Choice recipient Jessie J rocked a short green getup, Cee Lo Green traded in his feathery Grammy outfit for a studded adidas tracksuit, and Justin Bieber looked age appropriate in a black leather jacket and tie.
