Hollywood A-listers and music superstars crossed paths at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., on Sunday (June 5). The 20th annual event featured plenty of wild antics (Aziz Ansari as Jaden Smith and Justin Timberlake grabbing Mila Kunis’ boobs) and the first performance from Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz.

Nicki Minaj avoided the red carpet, but got plenty of attention inside with her eye-popping ensemble. Trey Songz had the ladies screaming his name when he arrived in a scarf and leather jacket, Lil Mama rocked a blonde wig, Lupe met up with his “Words I Never Said” collaborator Skylar Grey, and Romeo flashed his washboard abs for the photographers.

Rap-Up TV caught up with Omarion on the red carpet at last weekend’s MTV Movie Awards. The “America’s Best Dance Crew” judge ducked the California heat and spoke about his desire to work with Shakira (“I think me and her dancing would really be electrifying”), future collaborations with his friend Chris Brown, and rooting for his former Young Money labelmate Drake.

MTV is known for its outrageous awards shows and this year’s MTV Movie Awards didn’t disappoint. But how do you top last year when Sacha Baron Cohen aka Bruno landed ass first in Eminem’s face? By getting Tom Cruise to bust some moves to Ludacris’ “Get Back” and then have a dance off with Jennifer Lopez.

T.I. and “Karate Kid” Jaden Smith kicked off the red carpet arrivals at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., on Sunday (June 6). Katy Perry sported electric blue hair, while her “California Gurls” collaborator Snoop Dogg wore a yellow “Kobe Is King” T-shirt to support the Lakers. M.I.A. performed at the Target and Converse 2008 MTV Movie Awards After-Party in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The Sri Lankan artist recently announced at a Canadian show that she is engaged to Benjamin Brewer (pictured above), the son of Warner Music Group chairman and CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr., and guitarist and vocalist for the band The Exit.

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards were held on Sunday at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. The Pussycat Dolls and Coldplay performed. Chris Brown helped open the show by challenging host Mike Meyers to a dance-off.

A three-alarm fire broke out at the Universal Studios back lot early Sunday morning. The Gibson Amphitheatre is located at Universal Studios, but it was not affected by the flames and the show went on as planned.
