Even though an ass eclipsed the entire night, there were other memorable moments at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, including Lil Wayne presenting the award for Best Song From a Movie (Weezy can actually act!), Eminem taking the stage to perform “We Made You” and “Crack a Bottle” with a band, and Justin Timberlake also getting his share of ass face.

M.I.A. at MTV Movie Awards After-Party

M.I.A. performed at the Target and Converse 2008 MTV Movie Awards After-Party in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The Sri Lankan artist recently announced at a Canadian show that she is engaged to Benjamin Brewer (pictured above), the son of Warner Music Group chairman and CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr., and guitarist and vocalist for the band The Exit.

2008 MTV Movie Awards

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards were held on Sunday at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. The Pussycat Dolls and Coldplay performed. Chris Brown helped open the show by challenging host Mike Meyers to a dance-off.

A three-alarm fire broke out at the Universal Studios back lot early Sunday morning. The Gibson Amphitheatre is located at Universal Studios, but it was not affected by the flames and the show went on as planned.
